These cupcakes look so yummy! They are the inspiration at Scrapbook Boutique this month.
I am linking this card upto the challenge.
I have used Kraftin’ Kimmie Marie Antoinette stamp stamped in memento tuxedo black and coloured with alcohol markers (Spectrum Noir & Kaiserfusion). I used My Mind’s Eye Miss Caroline patterned paper and SU So Saffron cardstock in my card front layers. The button is from my stash threaded with a little twine from the Rusty Rose.
A little follow up on the Cancer Fund Raiser…
The Pink Ribbon Cancer Fund raiser yesterday was wonderful. It was a High Tea style luncheon with lots of yummy treats like the ones above – I skipped dinner last night I had eaten so much! The girls who did the baking did a fabulous job. We also had a guest speaker for the first time – a breast care nurse – which was very informative. Every lady received a necklace made by Cambodian orphans (my friend also supports a Cambodian Orphanage) along with the cards that I had made. The necklaces are pink with a ribbon shape hand made by the boys from coconut shells. The boys made them on a recent trip she had to help establish a library at the orphanage. The ladies raised money by having the entry fee, raffle prizes, buy a present and a guessing game (guess how many pink jelly beans in the lolly jar).
Enjoy your weekend
Thanks for taking a peek
Cheers
Vicki
Vicki, these cakes caught my eye as well – am musing on my entry. Your card is fabulous as always and I love the Marie Antoinette image! Your Cancer Fundraiser sounds yummy and fun – and all for such a good cause. Well done and thanks for the update!
Perfect! Thanks for joining in with this months challenge at Scrapbook Boutique.
Oh yes, that’s definitely my hint… do not eat ‘anything’ else on a day of high tea lol. Glad it all went well. Thanks for joining us at Scrapbook Boutique your Marie Antioinette is sooo elegant (imagine wearing that dress… really, how could you do anything).
Your colouring is great, very clean card, love it
What an amazing event you described Vicki. Equally as amazing is that sweet card with a great use of the SB colours for this month.
Love your take on the challenge and the fundraiser was a special event really touching that the gifts helped orphans. Thanks for sharing
