What a hoot…

I am joining in at Papersmooches Sparks Challenge – a sketch challenge

I have made this card for a friend of Miss S (13) . The birthday girl likes owls and cupcakes. So I have used Papersmooches Geographic for the background stamped using Stampin UP! tempting turquoise onto American Crafts Powder cardstock which was mounted onto brown cardstock. The main images are from Papersmooches Chubby Chums and Hullabaloo coloured with alcohol markers and finished with glossy accents and clear wink of stella glitter brush. The sentiment panel was die cut using Die namics greeting frame and stamped in versafine onyx black ink with a sentiment from Papersmooches Digits stamp set. The ribbon threaded through the greeting is from my stash. Got the approval of Miss S – and she kept an eye on the progress!

Enjoy what is left of your weekend

Cheers

Vicki

  1. Such a cute owl – pretty colours. Miss S has great taste! So good for a 13 yer old. Beautiful day here today – a bit on the chilly side but blue sparkling day! Am trying to do catch up and get ahead with projects so I am not under so much pressure to create. No dancing this weekend?

    1. Thanks Susan. Lovely here today to. No dancing. Although there was a trivia fund raiser Friday night Miss E (17) went to and Mr M(15) went to school production. Today we had netball presentations – rather nice to have a little less on this weekend. Thanks for asking.

  2. Your little friend is going to LOVE this card! What a cute design- esp. since it looks like that owl is going to have a cupcake! LOVE! THANKS so much for joining in the fun with the Paper Smooches SPARKS team!!! Hope you play along with us again soon!!!
