I started with an image from Flourishes Spring Blossoms and coloured with alcohol markers. I hand cut into a tag shape, rounded the bottom corners and mounted onto some American Crafts cardstock. I popped this up with foam tape and layered this onto my card front with MME Miss Caroline 6×6 paper. I used an american crafts border punch along the top.  I used some ribbon to form a bow and added a button from my stash with some natural twine. The sentiment is from Inspired by Stampin Big Wishes. I finished off with some wink of stella on the flowers.

Before I go just a pic of my eldest before her graduation dinner last week.

She had her first year 12 exam today – 6 more to go!

She has 7 in total as the maths exams are split into 2.

Note: I cropped her head out of the pic because I haven’t asked her if she minds if I share!

Thanks for stopping

Cheers

  1. Love that card – also love the understated elegance of that dress. Your make? Beautiful! Yes, exams start here next week – just failed the first attempt at licence yesterday (GD No 2) so feeling low! Music exam this morning – practical! We all hold our breath during this period – GD No 1 starts exams for 2nd year Uni next week too – may be a need for time-out at grandparents before long!

    1. Thanks Susan. I did make the dress. Was rather simple once I got going – have also started on a version with a different neck line for her for everyday in summer. We haven’t done the licence yet she wont be 18 until December. Your grand daughter must be devastated. It is a stressful time all round. Hope they go well.

  2. This is such a pretty card. Your coloring of the flowers is awesome!

Thank you for participating in the Twisted Tuesday Challenge!
