Birthday week…

Hello

Sorry been a bit absent I am in the middle of birthday week here.

It has been something like this. Saturday 25 9 year old girls for a dress up party in the afternoon. They partied away doing things like the limbo, pass the parcel and musical bingo.

Here is a pic of the birthday cake.

I used Papersmooches Hullabaloo and Inpired by Stamping Fancy Circles stamp sets to make the sign – there is a Christmas tree on the top of this stand.

Saturday night I had 10 14 year old girls for a sleep over. I use the word sleep very loosely – I don’t believe any of them slept I toddled off to bed in the wee hours of Sunday morning after the nearly 18 year old got home from a party. Hubby got up to them at 4 am when they were making a human pyramid in the lounge room amongst other activities I wont mention.  Cooked them brekky at 8 am of pancakes.

This is made from one big cupcake mould with cream filling and piped butter cream icing.

Later Sunday Miss A  went to a party where they paint canvases. Haven’t got a pic of that yet.

Sunday night feeling the call to put up the Christmas Tree. I have one tree decorated and several boxes of decorations to yet open up.

Monday – Miss S is now 14

This is her card

I used PTI Polka Dot Parade #5 and Birthday Bash Sentiments stamped repeatedly with Hero Art fluro ink.

Tuesday – Miss A is now 9

I used the die from PTI Polka Dot parade #5 to die cut the bird from felt and added the music notes and legs with black ink. I added a black rhinestone for her eye. The blue spot paper is from Stampin UP! and the greeting is from Inspired by Stamping Big Wishes.

Plans for the rest of the week?

I am preparing for a stall at a local market on Sunday

Before that Miss E is turning 18th on Saturday.

Hope you grabbed a cuppa before you started.

Thanks for getting this far

Cheers

Vicki

  1. OMG – bet you were organised beforehand! Take a deep breath before the 18th – we have on on Sunday afternoon (second granddaughter) and still haven’t made the card. Her actual b/day is Monday 9th. I’m still deep in Christmas cards!
