Inspired by Stamping Guest…

Hello Everyone

I hope everyone has had a lovely Easter Break.

Today I am a Guest at Inspired by Stamping

Inspired by Stamping

I started with a card blank from Kaisercraft. I randomly stamped the IBS Springtime Beauty II images in PTI Lavender Moon and SU So Saffron onto SU Whisper White CS.

I coloured the leaf image with SU Gumball Green marker and stamped randomly. I added this to SU So Saffron cardstock with a strip across the bottom edge along with WRMK twine. All popped up with some foam tabs. The sentiment is stamped in Versafine Onyx black. I finished by adding White Opal liquid pearls and mauve pearls.

A few things we got up to over the Easter Break.

A gift for the hairdresser who cut Miss S’s hair for her Cancer donation (the hairdresser donated her services for the hair cut)

Envelope punch board box Easter treats

Miss A has been a little busy with loom band creations – this is just a sample we have all sorts of bracelets and animals too

and some card making

I made a scarf for Ms E to match the fingerless gloves

I followed a recipe from Julie Goodwin – The heart of the home

I also made a variation where I omitted the spices and sultanas and added cocoa and chocolate chips – Yum!

Thank you so much for visiting and getting to the end of this pic heavy post.

  1. Congratulations on your guest role at IBS, Vicki! You have chosen such soft colours for your card – very pretty! My grand-daughter (14) donated her long locks too – it’s great to see the next generation showing such care for others at such a young age! Congrats to you all! Ann:)

  2. Wonderful creations – the girls seem to have your creative gene. So nice of your daughter to donate her hair as well. That type of learning comes from the learning at home. Well done to all involved. Love the scarf and the buns. We made gluten free cup cakes and decorated them with bunnies and carrots, and made a few cards bu mostly watched TV and played with I Pads when not out and about! I am sure the thumbs on these kids will have to be 10 times bigger than ours!

    1. Hi Susan. I agree with the thumbs being bigger. We actually take the Ipad from Miss 14 much as it upsets her. Cup cakesYUM – the Easter bunny bought a couple of cupcake decorating kits here yet to be made up.

  3. What an elegant card you made, very lovely! Also, thank you for sharing this pictures with us. Thanks so much for joining our challenge this week at Hiding in my Craft Room.
