Hi
I made these a couple of weeks ago but had forgotten to share – Hubby had needed a card for the next day and of course I had nothing in my card stash suitable.
He chose this first one
I used various strips of patterned paper. I stamped the “happy” from PTI Birthday bash sentiments with versafine onyx black and clear heat embossed. I cut the “birthday” from PTI Birthday trio die – I used the cut out in the card below whilst I inlaid with green cardstock.
This one is left for another time
I used The Craft’s Meow Good times stamped in SU old olive ink along with PTI Polka Dot Parade #5 stamped with versafine onyx black and PTI Birthday die from the first card.
This morning I am off to the school book parade. Ms A (9) is dressed as the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland – a dance costume I made for her a few years ago.
Have a great weekend
Thanks for stopping and leaving all your lovely comments.
Cheers
Vicki
I like the colourful first one best too, Vicki, but the very classic chevron card will be great for that next ’emergency’. Masculine cards are the hardest, aren’t they? I made several a few months ago, because I was in the same boat as you – none in my stash – and of course, they went almost immediately. I think if you have them, then there is always a reason to send one lol! So it’ll be back to making them again soon for us both. Hugs, Ann
I really like the bright colours and the masculine feel of both. Your hubby must be the most liked creature at his work/in his family – all those cards he presents! Love it when you have good stash left over too!
