Stars and Trains …

Hello

I have a few things to share today.

Ms 10 helped me last week sort through my stash and we found a few gaps. Mainly due to the fact I make as I need. So I have been making a couple of things over the last few days to fill those gaps.

And doing so I am linking up to a few challenges as well

This first card I made in two colour ways using a range of stars from Annabelle Stamps Boy’s Party, Uniko Balloon Bash, Inspired by Stamping Build a Stocking, Papertrey Ink Star Prints and sentiment from Papertrey Ink.

I am linking upto the challenge at Pinterst Inspired Challenges here

and the next card I am linking up to the challenge at Scrapbook Boutique here

I stamped my image from Stamp It and mounted onto chocolate coloured card stock. The pattern paper is from a Kaisercraft pad along with the tag I stamped the sentiment on. The sentiment is from PTI World’s Greatest.

I also have a little update on my jumper.

The pattern I am using can be found here  and here.

I am knitting in Bendigo Woollen Mills Athena yarn I purchased last year. It is lovely and soft.

Thank you for getting all the way here.

It is a long post today.

Cheers

  1. Love your design of the star cards Vicki- the colour combos, the patterns and the layouts – they are both Stars! The steam train is classic – love the image and the colours again!

    1. Thanks Ann for both your comments. I need some more masculine cards in my stash. I didn’t realise how many stars I had till I started searching – and this wasn’t all!
The train image is from SBB and I’m embarrassed to say I had only cut one image from the sheet until I made this card. A few more images to ink up yet in the set.

  2. I’ll take 2! Oh… you’re not selling the jumpers, it is awesome Vicki! Loving the cards too, your stars are stamped so perfectly, so glad you could share them with us at Scrapbook Boutique!

    1. Thanks Therese. I hope to finish the jumper soon I am about a third way through the sleeves. I picked a simple pattern I can do quickly without to much brain power! Quick and simple. Glad you liked the cards too.

  3. Thanks for sharing your card with us at SBB. Great masculine card. Love the star cards too. Wonderful.
