NBUS meets under the sea…

Hello

I have found 10 minutes to link these up.

Mr 17 is studying for his exams which means trying to keep things quiet – not easy when he has 3 sisters! Little Ms 10 has been keeping me busy with her activities and the school art show. Some lovely work. It is coming to the busy time of the year. My second part time job is an enrolment officer for a local preschool so at this time of year there is lots to do and lots of anxious mums and dads.

Anyway enough waffle here are some cards I have been making

Firstly

Some NBUS I picked up at Paperific recently and Darnell has the perfect challenge.

You can find the NBUS challenge here

Girlfriends (531x640)This card is off to a special “0” birthday of a friend of mine this weekend.

I used NBUS Art Impression Girlfriend stamp coloured with alcohol markers. The pattern paper is also NBUS SU Stacked with love.

Now I might just make the cut off for this challenge over at Crafting with Dragonflies here

I love badge

I have made 2 cards.

I started by stamping images from MSS Ocean Fun onto watercolour paper and colouring with pencils.

MSS Ocean fun (640x430)

This card I used some metalic paper I picked up somewhere. I made a porthole using dies from ME stitched sew fancy and Quickcutz circle dies.

and

Mss ocean fun 2 (640x479)

I used a stencil from SU Happy Patterns to create the background on my card front. I then added my image. The sentiment is from PTI Tiny Treats and the water grass is from My Cute Stamps fishy fun.

My last card today is one which I was inspired by Therese which can be found here

photo 2 (3) (493x640)

I used PTI tag dies and some pattern paper.

Thanks for stopping

Until next time

Cheers

Vicki

  1. My Vicki, you are always so busy, and you get so much achieved! Love your special ‘0’ birthday card – perfect for the NBUS challenge. Your fishy cards are super, or is it one with the second pic inside the other? – no matter, they look so cute. Your tag die cut card is fab – I was inspired by Therese’s card too, and made a card from garden tag dies – white on white – but your card captures the inspiration perfectly, with the cut outs and add ons:) Good luck to your son with his exams – my 2nd grandson is facing VCE too – it’s time for head down and serious work for all students so my best wishes to them all at this time of year. xx

  2. Fabulous card – love the whale! Like the view through the porthole too. Busy as always but so productive too. All the best for Mr 17! Thanks for sharing with us at Crafting with Dragonflies for our Underwater challenge.

  3. These are all marvelous, Vicki, as always! You really do amaze me with the wonderful cards you create WHILE being a busy mom! I’ve got an in valid hubby ATM and I don’t know whether I’m coming or going, let alone being placid enough to create! (If it weren’t for the hamster, there would be nothing, believe me! You must have a whole cage full of them up in your head!)

Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #5! And thank you for understanding and forgiving me for being so late to comment! You did a great job using your NBUS! Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell

    1. Thanks for visiting Darnell. It must be time consuming with the mister out of action – hope he is up and about soon. Not sure about a cage of hamsters but there is a lot going on in there some days ! 🙂
