Sharing the last requested card by Ms E.
If you have been following you may remember she gave me a list of cards to be made with specific instructions including stamp sets and colours. Well this one came with the added extra of including a very specific sentiment! As you may guess the recipient has a great sense of humour!
I am linking this up to the monthly challenge at Scrapbook Boutique here
Here is my card
I have used Papersmooches chubby chums (requested a cow!), Uniko Garlands Galore (the sentiment reads “halfway to 40!) and My cute stamps Owlways friends. I used SU smoky slate, old olive and real red inks & cardstock. I finished the chubby cow with some glossy accents and goggly eyes.
Hope you have some great plans for the weekend. I do.
First I need to
complete start our tax returns – I know I only have 8 days! Now if I am good I will get Sunday to go to the craft show at Caulfield Racecourse. So you see I have an incentive to get a good start on those tax returns.
Until next time

Love it! Totally made me laugh out loud (I only wish I was half way to 40…. ) Thanks so much for sharing with us at Scrapbook Boutique!
Thanks Therese. Me to 🙂 and as they say know what I know now! 🙂 Have a great weekend.
This is so cute! Love it!
This is so cute Vicki and you have captured all the elements of the inspiration pic beautifully! Love the chosen sentiment – fancy thinking of being ‘halfway to 40’ – just starting eh? Enjoy your (as always busy) weekend:)
Thanks Ann. I bet your weekend is super busy too. And yes they are just starting!
Love the card you have created Vicki. Hope you got to the craft show. I was there this morning.
Thanks Judith. I did get to the show. Tax returns all done and lodged so I was able to go. I may have worked right past you!
A sweet and funny card, love the cow. Oh, a craft show…I hope you made it!
Thanks Di. I did.
I’m sure the recipient will see the humour 🙂
Did you get to the craft show Vicki? I hope so:) Love your card for this month’s challenge – I love that cow lol and his googly eyes 🙂
Thanks Linda. I did get to the show and I bought some new quilting toys.
Your card is so cute and I love your fun theme:) xx
Great card Vicki! Love the sentiment and the humour behind it! I tried to get to the craft show but unfortunately, time got away from me! I’m sure my purse was relieved……Thanks for joining in at our challenge x
Thanks Angela. I was rather restrained until I got to the quilting tools! I prefer to shop online for my papercraft supplies – although it is nice to see in the real life 🙂
This karacks me up, Vicki! I love it! I think both girls have great senses of humor!
I am relieved to see your comment above with a recent date because you haven’t posted for almost a month. Glad you’re okay and I hope you got your taxes done!! Hugs, Darnell
Thanks Darnell. All OK and I got my taxes done 🙂
