A Minion…

Hello

Another busy week

During the week Mr M’s girlfriend had a birthday

A handmade minion and card were requested.  Mr M helped with the minion by sewing on the buttons and fixing the eyes – yes they are different colours just the way he wanted it.

I CASed this card from Kelly Kent

Full card front punch art Minion card - instructions included. Kelly Kent - mypapercraftjourney.com.

Here is my version of the card

I used various circle punches and dies.  The sentiment comes from SU Endless Birthday Wishes.

and the felt Minion

The pattern can be found here. Our version is a little rustic!

and before I go a card I needed earlier in the week

I will link this to the current challenge at the colour tree here

I have only used one of TCTC colours Daffodil Delight – not sure if this is against the challenge rules. If I have not meet the guildelines I’m sure the administrator will exclude my card from the challenge.

Made using SU Awesomely Artistic, PTI mega mixed messages and SU Butterflies Thinlits dies.

The kiddos have a list of cards requested so hopefully I will be back soon with some more to share.

Cheers

Vicki

  1. Gorgeous minion – so clever! so sorry you needed a sympathy card this week – hope all is well with those close to you:) Moving day for me is next Friday, so we are on the home run – absolutely exhausted, I am! Looking forward to getting back to my cards after that – I’ve packed everything up (over 20boxes!!) so I have my hands tied at the moment lol! Have a good weekend Vicki:)

    1. Thanks Ann. All the best with the move. How much fun it is going to be to unpack everything. It will be like getting new things all over again. I get a little antsy if I haven’t been in my room for a couple of days – can’t imagine what I would be like for an extended period of time! 20 boxes of new things to play with.

Unfortunately the card was for my cousin’s daughter (she would have been 24 next week). She had a short battle with cancer.

  2. This is such a beautiful card, Vicki, with the Daffodil Delight flowers. Thanks for joining in with the challenge at TCT. It doesn’t meet the challenge requirements but I certainly won’t be deleting your link. Thanks for supporting The Colour Tree.

  3. These minions are the best, Vicki! What fun! And then, on the other side of life, I equally love the serenity and sophistication of your beautiful sympathy card! Enjoy your weekend!! Hugs, Darnell
