Birthday Celebration…

Hello

Boy has Melbourne’s weather changed. Gotta love it.

Today was meant to be the first netball training night, but Melbourne weather has other plans. That means I get a little more time. Hopefully I will get to play with more than one NBUS item tonight.

Here is my first

I am linking up to

NBUS challenge here

Never-Before-Used-Schtuff (Stamps, Dies, EFs, etc.)

and my card

SSS Birthday Celebration (579x640)

I started by stamping NBUS SSS Birthday Celebration elephant on to express cardstock and colouring with alcohol markers. I then layered and mounted onto card front using pattern paper.  The sentiment is from the same set also mounted and then popped up with foam tape.

Now if you have been following me for a while this may look familiar.  I didn’t realise I have CASed myself until I was editing the pic – this card is very similar to the card I made for my daughter back in December here. I’m going with CASing rather than memory loss – yes you can stop laughing now.  I obviously have a liking for elephants with balloons and paper that is red with white spots! You would think I would remember to use a different pattern paper at least 🙂

Now I’m off to prep dinner.  If all goes to plan I’ll get a little play time later tonight.

Until next time

Cheers

Vicki

  1. Giggle … I am not the only one!!! Thanks for that Vicki! I have noticed recently that I have blogged the same card twice! And … I have done it for more than one card! Ha ha! I guess that is what happens when you don’t blog for awhile! You forget what you have already done! Anyway … the card is cute enough to mass produce … so good on you for recycling your idea! Hugs xx
