Hello
Boy time flies! No reason for lack of posting or updating other than normal daily life! Wish I could say I had been doing something exciting or adventurous π
Before another day goes by I thought I would share how a few of my projects are going and one new project I have made.
That white jumper is sitting with all the knitting finished waiting for me to mattress stitch the seams!
In case you are wondering it does have sleeves too – just didn’t take a pic of those.
After deciding to use a blue cotton for the backing of this shirt quilt top, it is waiting to be basted before being quilted and finished with binding.
I did create a new project thanks to this online tutorial here
I gifted this to a friend recently with some cards from my stash and a cotton scarf.
Thanks for stopping
Hope to be back soon, but I wont promise π
Cheers
Vicki
Lovely work as usual – great little bag there.
Thanks Susan. It is a very cute bag and held more than I thought it would!
A ( nearly) finished jumper! Well done! Very cute bag- do you read German???
Thanks Dianne. I don’t speak German (one or two semesters years ago in high school did not make me proficient!) – I cheated and used the translate button!
My word, you’ve been busy! Love roll neck jumpers and yours looks verrrry nice! Quilt looks good too. Will you hand or machine quilt this piece?
Now your bag looks amazing…. Share how you did the handles…. I bought some leather last year when I was in the UK and saw it cheapπ with this look I mind!!!! Needless to say it’s on my to do list !!!π.
Thanks Sue. I’ll machine quilt on my trusty treadle cause it gives me a lovely even stitch π
As for the bag the handles are paper I can’t believe how well they came up (if you don’t mind me saying!). Folded in half length way and pierced with piercing tool and then faux stitching with a white gel pen. Time consuming but not tricky.
I’ll keep my eye on your blog for your handbag with leather handles π
You’ve been very industrious as usual Vicki – love your projects! I haven’t seen anything like that little bag – will look up the tutorial when I’ve unpacked some more boxes!
Thanks Ann. Hope it isn’t to long before you finish unpacking.
Hello Vicky,
I love the colors of your paper bag! Thanks for sharing a link to my blog!
Greetings from Berlin!

Thank you. Thanks for providing such great instructions π
