Green and Gold and first DT post for UnstampaBelles …

Hello

A little while back I won the challenge at UnstampaBelles and the lovely Susan asked me to join the DT.  This is my first post for the DT.

You can find the challenge blog here or on my side bar

The July challenge is colours of your country.  Now I am born and raised in Melbourne, Australia so my colours are red, white and blue.  For this challenge I have gone with the unofficial colours of green and gold (yellow).  And the twist for this challenge is make it square.

july 2016 DT 3 (640x602)

I created the window frame using SU Hearth and Home die cut in white cardstock and in foam for dimension.  I also cut into the Kaisercraft Confetti pattern paper to recess the window frame.  The flowers, leaves and tree were cut from scrap cardstock using Memory Box Arboscello Tree, CC Designs Leafy branch and SU Itty bitty accents punch. All finished with a few rhinestones. The card is 12.5 cm square.

I hope to see your creations in this months Unstampabelles Challenge.

Thanks for stopping

Cheers

Vicki

  1. Firstly, congratulations Vicki for being recognised for your talent – and now being a DT Belle at Unstampabelles! and what a lovely first card you have created! I have this die and have not used it nearly enough – love the little flowers you added to the frame/window box.

  2. Beautiful creation for your first one for the belles teamie. I love this die too. When I see these colours I also think Australia . They are also the colours of the flag here in Cyprus but strangely I always think blue and white as I live in the Greek part if Cyprus and blue and white are the Greek flag!!! Very confusing lol!!

Look forward to seeing more if your creations later in the month. Wynn Belles DT
