Hello
Popping in to share a special Numbered birthday card.
Another angle where the silver foil cs is not so reflective!
I used a sponge roller to add petite pirouette ink to SU Irresistibly yours paper. The sentiment is from The paper company set Birthday candles and the die cut is using SU Large Numbers die. I added a little Kaisercraft lace and ABS ribbon behind the number panel. To finish off I had to add a few sequins from my stash.
I am linking up to the following challenges
{Pin}spirational challenge here
and

I need to share a little find from a recent op shop visit.
Let me say I was rather excited because I knew exactly what this was when I spied it. I am sure most non-crafty people didn’t know what the shapes on it were for. The original owner had punched the shape from floral paper and taped to the back obviously to know where to put things away. Against my girls protests I bought this home – I couldn’t leave it behind for only $5. I have since removed the floral pattern paper from the back and sides (both inside and out). I have also given it a light sand as I am planning to spray it white. It is currently sitting on my desk top full with punches! Ms A was heard to say “it didn’t take you long to fill it”. insert embarassed face.
Until next time
Cheers
Vicki
Gorgeous card Vicki – love all the shine on it for this special birthday. Also love your op shop find – yes those shapes look very familiar as does the rose PP which I had and loved back in the day lol.
Thanks Linda. Nice to hear I am not the only one with a good collection! Although I didn’t recognise the pp 🙂
Awesome card Vicki! I always have such a fun time taking photos of ‘gold’ cards, and black ones aren’t far behind lol. ps love your storage find… and yes, nothing to be ashamed about, filling it means you’ve got lots of crafty joy ahead to play with your newly organized goodies!
Thanks Therese. I am sure I should do a photography course! Maybe one day 🙂
Fingers crossed I get a chance to play. Unusually that part of my desk is the tidiest part of the house! Two youngest started back at school today so massive house tidy is on the to do list. After being home since November you can imagine things are slightly out of hand. 🙂
Super cute!!! Thank you for joining us at PINspirational, good luck!!! Amy DT
Thanks Amy.
Very pretty card Vicki – I love those large SU numbers too! Your op shop find is perfect! Bet it will look a treat when you are ‘finished’ fixing it up:)
Thanks Ann.
So pretty! Love the foil paper! Thanks for joining us at Die Cuttin Divas this week!
Thanks Nancy

Deanne at A Little Bit O’ Paper
Thanks Deanne. I hope so
Beautiful card, so soft and pretty and finished off perfectly with the gold foil. What a find and only $5 dollars – you go girl. Isn’t it funny how we embarrass our kids, wonder if they ever think about the times they embarrassed us???
Thanks Aileen. I know mine don’t remember the embarrassing things but I do try to remind them often! 🙂
Pretty birthday card! thank you for sharing with us at Die Cuttin’ Divas.
Glenda’s Cards
Thanks Glenda
Your 50th birthday card just screams “PARTY” with all those festive sequins, Vicki! Someone is going to love this!! And go you for finding that awesome punch cupboard for only $5!! Listen, Ms A should be so lucky to find a hobby as fulfilling as ours to make her happy someday, right?! Hugs, Darnell
Thanks Darnell. Ms A is well on the way to finding a hobby. Her stash of various crafty supplies is reaching mammoth proportions for a 12 year old! 🙂
Beautiful card as always and what a find -jealous! I’m with Darnell – Ms A is just like me!
Thanks Susan. It was a fab find!
