Hello
When I saw Darnell’s new Boo Boo challenge and her card I remembered I made this recently perfect to share here.
Head over and check it out. I also think Darnell took a peek in my craftroom! Mine has a similar look most of the time! Hubby just rolls his eyes when he visits. My answer is if it bothers him so much don’t come in!
I will also link up to Seize the Birthday current challenge here
My card
Now the Boo Boo may not be obvious at first. But I did exactly what Darnell did. I placed the pattern paper pattern upside down! The little banners are meant to be more like “W’s” then “M’s”. Thankfully none of the kiddos critics noticed this.
I used SU Up and Away paper, CS and a NBUS stamp set SU Any Occasion.
Off to do some tiding up so I can play in my room!
Until next time
Cheers
Vicki
It’s always nice to know we aren’t alone in our boo-boos! Actually your card looks very festive anyway, Vicki! Those banners remind me of old-timey twisted crepe paper – is crepe paper even made any more? l’m showing my age again!! Thank you for being a great sport and sharing with us!! Hugs, Darnell
Thanks Darnell. Yes you can still get crepe paper here in Aus at least.
I would not have noticed your upside down paper, Vicki. This is a fun birthday card~the sentiment is right side up 🙂
Thanks Helen
As far as boo-boos go this is not bad at all Vicki! I’m not surprised it wasn’t noticed by your usually astute kiddos! Love the cheery look of your card. I have made several mistakes myself lately but they are not available to enter (e.g. using my Misti to stamp several sentiments on the front of small notecards, but forgot I’d opened up the card – so not the front but the back!!) – but I’m sure to make another in time to enter this challenge:)
Thanks Ann. Did you manage to save your boo boos? I probably would have cut them up and mounted them onto a bigger card.
Always making boo boo’s – a chance to learn usually. I like yours -nice and discreet!
Thanks Susan. So true we are suppose to learn from our boo boos!
Awesome Vicki, I probably would never had noticed myself…
Thanks Therese but now I have it is all I see!
I wouldn’t have noticed the upside down paper, I have done this before myself. And the trouble is, as soon as you notice it you can’t stop looking at it!! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks. You are so right as soon as you notice something like this your eyes are drawn to it!
Such a fun card, boo boo and all!
Thanks Marlena
Your boo boo isn’t that noticeable and I do like your card design.
Thank you
You never would of known your “boo boo” had you not pointed it out 🙂 — Cut card Thanks for joining in at STB
Thanks Vicki.
