#70: Every Day is Special
TWIST lots of colour
My card was inspired by this card by Therese at Lostinpaper. I don’t think I am alone in holding onto little slivers of pattern paper! This was a great way to use some of them up and I got to use lots of colour at the same time and every birthday is special.
I used some double sided adhesive sheets to attach my stripes of paper then cut down slightly for my card front. I finished with glittery sentiment die cut using Stamplorations and PTI dies.
Hope to see your creation in the link. Remember no stamps.
Cheers
Vicki
That is a really cool way to use up our ‘hoard’ – I mean valuable small pieces of card and paper!
Thanks Ann. Yes hoard is the correct term to use! I think I have enough pattern paper to last me forever 🙂
I thought it was washi tape at first – great way to use up ‘scraps’. Thanks for your work.
Thanks Susan. Next on my “to use up” list is the washi tape!
Waste not want not lol. So glad these pieces of design paper beauty found a home on your sweet card Vicki, and thanks too for the shout out my friend x
Thanks Therese. and thanks for the ideas 🙂 Since this recent little tidy up the 2 youngest have had me sewing still the stash is not getting noticable smaller!
Well done being inspired by Therese, Vicki, and awesome job using those snippets of pp! Applause!! Hugs, Darnell
Thanks Darnell.
