Hello
Today I am sharing a card using Jane’s Doodles Unicorn and Birthday Wishes stamp sets.
I am linking up to the current challenge at Seize the Birthday here no toppings for me this time
For my regular readers this will not surprise it was a specific request by Mr M for a friend. Mr M and his friends have regular games days/nights where they play board games for about 12-14 hours. And before you ask they do play board games because we regularly have the event out our place. Any way one of the girls is having a birthday and this is the resulting card. The boys all chipped in and bought an add on pack for one of her board games – cause they get to use it too! Not so silly. It did remind me of the kind of gifts partners buy each other like a kitchen appliance or garden equipment! Everyone gets something out of those types of gifts.
Enough of my waffle. I created the cloud base using embossing paste and a cloud stencil. I stamped and coloured my images with alcohol markers and popped them up on my card front. I used my alcohol markers to colour a small section of cardstock and punched out the little hearts, adding them to the card front and adding a wink of stella.
Thanks for stopping
Cheers
Vicki
At least they didn’t buy her kitchen appliances or garden equipment…. haha. What a fun bright cheery design, totally makes me happy!
Thanks Therese. I might be a bit concerned if he starts buying kitchen appliances! her boyfriend probably wouldn’t be too happy
A very cute and bright card for a young lady! Love that fantasy still exists in our young people – also love how you used the paste for the clouds – totally love that!
Thanks Ann. Mine still enjoy a little fun.
Very cute! Love the unicorn, reminds me of the pony illustrations in the “Thelwell” books from years ago. Intrigued to know what the game is – my 2 were playing “Talisman” in the school hols
Thanks Dianne. They bought this “Betrayal At House On The Hill Widows Walk Expansion”
Lovely as usual – a special card. They really are fabulous, those kids of yours. You and hubby have done good!
Thanks Susan.
This is super cute! Your background is fantastic! Such a fun card. Thanks for playing along with Seize the Birthday.
Thanks Glenda.
