A finished shirt quilt & a prize…

Hello

I finished the HST Sampler mens shirt fabric quilt a few days ago.  The sashing is 2″ stripes of new cotton fabric, backed with white pattern fabric. Binding Grey cotton.

Finished size 98 cm x 98 cm

I have been a very lucky girl.

Earlier in the week I received the package below from Jodie from vintage ric rac here.

Jodie’s latest range is rockpool.  Such lovely designs and colours in this range. It is not just for quilts either you can see what all the creative people made on Jodie’s blog.

I must admit I was a wee bit excited.  I have been the lucky recipient of a number of stamp sets but never fabric.  I was like a kid at Christmas opening my parcel.  Mind you I did this at swimming the other night so who knows what the people sitting around me thought!

I don’t want to rush in so will ponder for a little while what I am to make.

I have used both Jodie and Emma’s (one of the patterns is Emma’s) fabrics on a number of quilts. Here are some pics.

Sorry to bore you with all the pics!

I have a few more new things to but I’ll share those another day. And tomorrow I am off to Paperific so no doubt I will pick up one or two new things there too.

Until next time

Cheers

Vicki

  1. I’m never bored seeing your beautiful quilts Vikki! They are all beautiful – and congratulations on your prize – I can’t wait to see what becomes of those beautiful fabrics!

    1. Thanks Ann. I’m thinking I might create something that has been on my to do list for myself for a while. You know what they say measure twice cut once – I want to be sure before I cut!
