Hello
Popping in to share a card using Jane’s Doodles to the moon.
I am linking this up to the current challenge at Seize the Birthday here
I am also linking up to the current challenge at Double D challenges here
I used Jane’s Doodles To the moon and back (been sitting on my desk uninked for a few months!) plus alcohol markers and the paper is also a new pack from SU. All the images were fussy cut and popped up with foam tabs.
I am trying to work my way through my NBUS stash – problem is it keeps growing. I went to Paperific in Melbourne not really having anything in mind to purchase except my fav pre cut cs. Figured the entry fee was about the same as my postage would be if I placed an online order. Well that plan went out the window pretty fast! I came home with the cs plus 3 stand alone die sets, 2 stamp sets and 2 stamp & die sets. Plus I added a few more copics to my collection – would have been more I fear but I left my colour chart at home and had to phone Mr M for some assistance. Lucky he knows his way around my room & a copic colour chart (can’t say hubby would have found it – probably a good thing!). Must have been rather amusing for people near me to hear me say “in the white shelf unit, down the bottom on top of etc…” I could have got him to drop the chart in I don’t live far from where the expo was – probably a good think I just thought of that. – insert red face!
Cheers
Vicki
Love your space card Vikki! It sounds like you really enjoyed your ‘visit’ to Melb Paperific and bagged yourself some must-have items! Enjoy your new stash – I don’t think I’ll make it this year, perhaps next!
Thanks Ann. I’m pretty lucky it isn’t far from where I live and I work. I just pay entry (I park and walk) so I figure I save postage and get a pretty full day out. I’ve been a few times now so I catch up with a few of the exhibitors too.
Very cute card, love the rocket! Sounds like you had fun at paperific!
Thanks Dianne. I did have a fun day.
That is so lovely!
Thanks
What an adorable card, Vicki! Such a cute little space scene, and I love the background paper, too. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Seize the Birthday!
Thanks Sandy
You’re only human, Vicki! You’ll have lots of fun with your NBUS goodies and use them for something incredible! Which is what your galaxy card is! I love it! I think there are a few galaxy themed challenges out there now. One that comes to mind is “Double D Challenges.” I think you should enter there, too! Hugs, Darnell
