Hello
I have been enjoying the hot summer here in Melbourne glad to see it has cooled in the last week. Since Christmas we have had a 21st, a 25th Wedding anniversary and I celebrated a significant birthday. The partying from December has continued. Miss S’s boyfriend also had a birthday in there along with a few of our friends. We did get away for a week with most of the kiddos and their partners. Mr M (21) had to work his part time job so he stayed home and looked after the dog whilst his girlfriend was away with her family.
School went back on 4th for my youngest (Ms A 14) whilst hubby and our eldest (Ms E 23) started work a few days before that. Ms E has secured a lab assistants role and has also enroled to become a secondary high school science teacher. She still hopes to get her dream job in forensics one day.
Mr M and Ms S (19) don’t go back to uni for a few weeks yet. They have both been busy with their part time jobs and catching up with their friends.
Now some of the people are out of the house I have been doing some major tidying and decluttering. Next week I plan on tackling the craft room whilst hubby is away on school camp. Wish me luck. If all goes well I will have a nice tidy house and loads of crafty time.
I have managed a little crafty time. I started flaxlight by tincan knits here in early January and am pleased with how it is coming along. I am using Bendigo Woollen Mills 4ply arctic.
Until next time
Cheers
Vicki
