Hello
Today I have an inlaid glitter card to share with you.
This is the current challenge at Unstampabelles Challenge #90 here
Stained Glass Techniques using Dies
TWIST Use some Glitter
I started by die cutting a piece of glitter cardstock (for a more translucent glass look I should have used vellum) using my Annabelle Stamps Cuts by Design Border 1 die. I adhered this to some double sided adhesive paper. In the gaps I then added red glitter and pressed firmly with a roller (inlaid glitter!). This gave me a glittery piece of cardstock which I then die cut with a bauble die 3 times. I also die cut the bauble hangers from silver foil cardstock. I assembled my baubles and adhered to my card front. I finished the baubles with some ribbon bows and strings drawn with a cool grey copic multiliner and ruler. Finished with a die cut Christmas sentiment cut from silver foil and foam.
I am also linking this card up to the current challenge at Sweet Stampin Christmas here
Anything Christmas Goes with an optional twist of Non-Traditional Colours.
Sorry no twist for me with this one!
Thanks for stopping by
Cheers
Vicki
Love that you shared this card Vikki – it is fabulous and I have all the ingredients, so can make my own! I’ve been thinking it’s about time I started Christmas cards for some time, but things have got in the way, as they do! This will be my first for the year! Hope you’ve found your perfect job too!
Thanks Ann. I will keep an eye out for your creations.
Hi, Vicki! Beautiful Christmas card, and I especially like the vintage pattern in your baubles! It’s lovely! Thank you for uploading your pretty project to Christmas at the Sweet Stampin’ Challenge . Hope to see more of your creative submissions in the future.
