Hello
Boy time does get away! Thought I would pop in and share a few of the projects I have been working on.
Firstly a throw for my eldest daughter from stash yarn. You can find the pattern here. The grey is left over from the throw I made earlier this year here
Second up is another knit project. I purchased this yarn a few weeks ago whilst on a girls weekend in Healseville from Crumbz Craft. Amazing already on the needles! A nice pair of socks for me using a simply sock pattern here.
Lastly 2 quilts I have completed from repurposed shirts. These are for a fundraiser next week. I have 4 other quilt tops made not yet basted and quilted!
This first one is 2.5″ fabric stripes cut and recut into grid pattern. Borders are also 2.5″. This has cotton batting and the backing was gifted. The binding is also from repurposed shirt fabric. Quilt measures 101 cm x 86.5 cm.
The next two photos are of a 5″ square quilt backed with gifted silky fabric. Again I used repurposed shirts for the binding. Pieced in strip and recut, sewn again into 9 piece blocks. Blocks laid out and sewn together. Quilt measures 115cm x 138cm
Thanks for stopping by
Cheers
Vicki
