I might just make the cut off for the current challenge at Jane’s Doodles #5 here.
This card uses another new set for me – Jane’s Doodles Wild Flowers
I coloured with alcohol markers, fussy cut and teamed with Kaszazz Speckled frame, PTI sentiment and some die cuts.
I was very lucky in the last challenge at Jane’s Doodles – I received an Honorable mention + the random prize!
Until next time
Cheers

Hello
For December in our house it is not just about Christmas but birthdays too!
I realised recently I hadn’t shared any of the birthday or Christmas makes. Some of which left the house before I could take a snap! The ones I have snapped please excuse the poor photography! I am not going to go into long details about the process as this post is long enough! If you would like to know more leave me a message in the comments and I will reply. All products are listed in below.
On the 2nd Ms S turned 19
On the 3rd Ms A was 14 – Little Miss had a party with about 25 like minded teenagers. I inlisted all my kiddos and their partners for extra supervision. Of course hubby was out that night!
On 7th it was Ms E’s and she was 23! For those who are doing the math in 2 years time it is going to be big – the girls will be 25, 21 and 16 within 5 days of each other.
and to round out the December birthdays Mr M’s girlfriend was 21 on 15th. We celebrated with 21 desserts!
Not sure about the deer being a horse but Mr M was happy.
Her gift which she was very surprised I had kept a secret. I worked on this from around cup day (early November) right up until the night before her party. It even had to go to the last book club gathering otherwise it would not have been finished.
A disappearing nine patch. Measurements are around 215 cm x 165 cm (I forgot to measure before I wrapped it!).
Now for a few Christmas makes
These are silver foil cardstock which no matter how I photographed they looked black.
and some sewing
a dinosaur for a work colleage of hubby’s
and some little pinafore dresses
To round out December Ms S went to NASA and silicon valley in Houston and San Fransico for 2 weeks. She had an amazing trip all made possible by her end of year grades in Year 12 last year. Her score made her eligible for a particular programme which after the interview process got her onto the team to go to NASA. Out of the 20 people her team of 4 won the best team and Ms S won the individual award.
This is a promotional pic taken at Scienceworks in Victoria before they left.
last night whilst Ms E and Ms A were at carols rehersals and Ms S and her boyfriend were looking at Christmas lights, Mr M and his girlfriend helped with decorating 4 Gingerbread houses.
Now I must get on as I have 22 people for lunch tomorrow. I hope you have all made the “nice” list and get some goodies tomorrow.
Merry Christmas and all the best for the coming New Year.
Thank you for your visits during 2018 I appreciate your effort.
Until next time
Cheers

Hello
Hello
Today I am sharing a card I made for an upcoming birthday. Â It also happens to be my creation for Unstampabelles Challenge this month.
Unstampabelles Anything Goes – twist use something new here
Remember no stamps!
Here is my card
I used a new die I found online here. Â I paired with my ME Pizzaz Pieces die set, Spotted Owl Paper from Jillibean Soup, Kaszazz CS and sequins gifted from Jane’s Doodles with an order to make a shaker card. Â I used fun foam and clear transparency film to make the shaker.
Please pop over to take a peek at the DT inspiration. Â You wont be disappointed.
I hope to see you in the gallery.
Cheers

Hello
Hope you had a great weekend.
I had the Melbourne Zoo Birthday Party with my girls and Ms 14’s boyfriend. Mr 16 had his girl friend’s Debutante Ball.
Anyway I also had a little time to play.
I had wanted to make some more book labels for my book club friends. These will be gifts. I know from now till the end of the year is pretty busy in our house with lots of birthdays, dance concert, school stuff and other bits and pieces that happen that I wanted to get something under way now.
I have used a few different sets to make these up.
and
and
and
The one set which is consistent is Jane’s Doodles Read all about it – for the words – “This book belongs to: “. I have also used Janes’s Doodles Doodle Flowers II and Raindrops along with PTI Happy Hexagons, Uniko Background Builders Vines and Kaszazz Stitched Borders.  I have used both water based and alcohol based markers and inks from SU and PTI along with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. All labels are stamped onto SU Whisper white cs 5 cm x 9 cm. To adhere to the inside covers I have attached pieces of double sided tape to the back which can be removed when adding to books.  I was trying to link stamps to books we have read for example we recently read The Language of Flowers – Vanessa Diffenbaugh.
This wouldn’t be complete with out a new book mark
I used Jane’s Doodles Flying High along with Read all about it and the book mark top is made using SU scallop tag punch and finished with ribbons.
I also made this at the weekend
I used CWA lemon butter recipe. It made 2 jars this size. Mr M (16) just asked when I was going to make more – yep it’s all gone!
We made dozen lemon tarts with pastry cases and lemon butter filling the rest we ate on ice cream, in yogurt and on toast/muffins.
Thanks for stopping by
Cheers

It is my husband’s nephew’s birthday in a few weeks so I have made this card for him. He is a country boy and likes his dirt bike so this was the perfect stamp for him.
I have used Stamp It Transportation coloured with Spectrum Noir and Kaiskraft Fusion markers on SBB Kraft cardstock. The white highlights were added with a gel pen. I used PTI dark chocolate and a sponging tool to colour the edges before adding to my card front. The Die is Kaszazz Cog die and Lifestyle crafts circle die cut into a scrap of brown card stock. The sentiment is from SU Â Express Yourself.
I am linking this upto the monthly challenge at Scrapbook Boutique – I took a little liberty and added a little more colour and made it masculine. Hope you can see my inspiration from the Challenge pic,
and
Crafting with Dragonflies – Male/Guy card
Best go get Miss E organised we are off to La Trobe Uni open day today and must be back by 2ish to pick up Miss S from dancing – yes she started at 9 on a Sunday morning. Â I hope to fit in some more crafty time later after I have restocked the fridge/freezer and pantry!
Thanks for visiting  hope your Sunday is a bit quieter than mine.
Cheers

Edit.

I cut my card base on the diagonals as per the sketch. I then embossed two opposing panels and sanded slightly to reveal the core. I adhered these to my card front. I stamped my centre piece with Kaszazz Cog stamp set in various brown toned inks. I put this on some black cardstock and fixed to the front of my card. I made the sentiment panel using the sentiment from Annabelle Stamps Sentimental Bluebells. I have a friends birthday soon and want to give her a few cards – I’m a bit light on for male cards – I think this would suit the men in her life.
I’m linking this card upto these challenges.

I like how this all turned out. I have a few more things on my to do list so hopefully I’ll be back before the end of the week with some more to share.
Hope all good in your part of the world. Crazy weather here been so hot for days, now it has been raining here most of today – they have put out an alert for a local river. Â I remember it flooding a few times before. Â The only building that usually gets flooded is the pub on the river.
Thanks for taking a peek.
Cheers
