And we’re racing…

Couldn’t help that.

The challenge at the moment at the Lollipop ladies is Racing cars and Stripes. I had to play along.

This is the card I made for the challenge .

I used TAWS stamp set, bits and pieces of cardstock and the stripey paper is from Doodlebug design – boys only. I added a few glossy bits in the windows and car fumes. I will add the sentiment when I know which lucky person is going to get this card.

Hope your having a great day.

Thanks for taking a peek.

Cheers

TAWS #16 Be Inspired…

I am linking this card to the TAWS #16 Be Inspired Challenge.  I have used TAWS Priceless Joy – the bee – made into a Christmas Ornament and the free Christmas sentiment from TAWS. I also used Courture Creations Emobossing Folder Tied Together. The twine was tying some stamps together I recently received. The cardstock is from my bits and pieces (I think it is AC).

Thanks for taking a peek.

Cheers.

AnnaBelle Stamps Challenge – AC146 & The Stamp Spot

Before I put this set away I had to make one more tag. I have used the colours from this weeks challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps

and as it is a tag, I am also going to link it upto The Stamp Spots monthly challenge

http://thestampspot.blogspot.com.au/

I have used The Alley Way Stamp set – Priceless Joy coloured with Zig Brushables (English Lavender – closest I had to lilac!), Zig – Silver, Marvy Le Plume (Silver Grey & Black), SU (Not Quite Navy) and Spica clear.

This will come in handy in the next few weeks – the lead upto Christmas is also Birthday time.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

The Stamp Spot November Challenge + TAWS Be Inspired #14

I used TAWS Priceless Joy along with SU Ink, AC Powder CS and Me & My big Ideas Ellen Summer Pack. I made the tag using my Fiskars shape cutter + Journal Plates.

I am linking this card upto the following challenges

The Stamp Spot November Challenge – tags

“This month I would like to challenge you all to try something new, now this challenge topic may not be new to you in your crafting creations but we don’t see a lot of these on The Stamp Spot….

I am talking about tags – gift tags, journaling tags/cards any kind of tag really. To tie it in with the store you will need to incorporate something that is listed instore… there are many options and it doesn’t have to be purchased from my store or exactly what is in store – in your stash you are sure to have twine, ribbon, washi tape (and if you don’t you may soon will, prices instore start at $2.00 per roll!), patterned paper, die cuts even stamps. Certainly feel free to make a start if you haven’t already on making your own Christmas gift tags or Christmas Tree Tag Decorations and use them to enter this challenge.  There are no colour restrictions, size or occasion requirements… just tags.”

and

I was inspired by the colour way in the top left corner.

I didn’t win the Melbourne Cup Sweep – but did get my $2 back because my horse came last! Just a bit of fun at the Cup day BBQ with friends yesterday. If you had a flutter on the horses hope you did well.

Thanks for stopping by

TAWS #12 + Moxiefab + AnnaBelle Stamps Challenges ABSC054

This is a free digi from The Alley Way Stamps.

I coloured it pink inspired by the TAWS Challenge #12. I have used the sketch at AnnaBelle Stamps and Moxiefab Card Making Christmas Challenge.

I will be entering this card into all three challenges.

I used AC Blush, MME Miss Caroline Dolled Up PP, Tim Holtz markers (Victorian Velvet, Vintage Photo, Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar). The die cuts are from PTI Beautiful bloomsII. Other embellishments from my stash.

Thanks for dropping in.

The Alley Way Stamp Challenge #9 – Circus Tent

I recently came across this blog – the stamps are so cute – thought I would have a go at the latest challenge. The colours in the challenge are so bright. I don’t have any stamp sets from The Alley Way yet – oh that wishlist of mine isn’t getting any shorter! I did grab a free digital stamp Circus Tent to do this challenge.  I printed the image onto coloured card stock from my stack and paper pierced my tents together. I used the SU Embossing folder square lattice to give some texture so the tent top and sides. I used a strip of SU Big Top Birthday DSP along the bottom of the card. I also printed a sentiment from TAWS and made it into a banner.

I need to make a few cards fit for a 13 year old – one of my children has come home with 3 separate invitations this week.

Can you tell it is sunny in Melbourne today – just noticed I have a shadow behind the banner! Love days like today.

Hope you are having a great week.

Thanks for stopping by – I love reading your lovely comments – even if I don’t always reply I appreciate your efforts.

Cheers
