Restocking the stash…

Hello

Popping in to share a few more cards I made recently. It was fun to colour these up.

This little lady from AnnaBelle Stamps was fun to colour. I Fussy cut her out and popped her up on this tag die and then onto my card front.

This little monster is always fun to colour! Again I fussy cut and popped him up.

These 2 from Kaszazz came together super fast, simple stamping with my repositioning stamp tool.

Love the look on the bear’s face! They remind me of old story books.

A llama from Newtons Nook coloured with alcohol markers and popped up on to a background I created a while ago using a stencil, embossing paste and ink refill.

Another Llama from Newton’s Nook also coloured with alcohol markers and popped up on to a stencil/embossing paste background.

I loved the look of the pots so I stamped a few, coloured and popped 2 up with foam tabs.

I love this sentiment. So true!

So now the weather is a little cooler (for a day or so!) I intend to finish binding a quilt I made for another recent addition to the extended family. Fingers crossed I can pop back and share mid week.

Until next time

Cheers

Vicki

Requests …

Hello

I had some card requests recently.  Here are a few of my creations.

First up is Annabelle stamps little monster. Coloured with alcohol markers, fussy cut & popped up on card front.

Next I have a couple of cards made using Flourishes Kids at Play with sentiments from Uniquely and Jane’s Doodles.

I also have some Christmas cards to share.  These were inspired by Therese at Lostinpaper here.  These were quick to put together without colouring the elf image.

Thanks for stopping by

Cupcakes and a Lil Monster strikes a Pose…

Hello

Popping into share a card or two

This first card I am linking up to the current challenge at Scrapbook Boutique.

and

Never Before Used Schtuff with Darnell

I took my inspiration from the chocolate cupcakes and the lovely pastel colours.

IMG_6785 (640x624)

Perfect for my brand new NBUS from SBB Mama Elephant Carnival Cupcakes and co ordinating dies. I stamped the cupcake bottoms with SU Baked Brown Sugar ink and  coloured the cupcake icing with stampin up and tim holtz markers. I stamped the cute animals onto xpress blending card stock and coloured with various brands of alcohol markers and then die cut. The card front was mounted onto SU pink Pirouette Cardstock and then the little animals were popped up with foam tape.

This card is off to a party with Ms 15 tonight.

My second card

I am linking up to the current challenge at Uniko – anything goes

IMG_6790 (640x594)

I recently purchased several new watercolour pencils and paints – a little indulgence from a recent shopping trip to Geelong art supply shops and online. This little guy from Annabelle Stamps is fun to colour and he hasn’t had much love lately. So I paired him up with a NBUS Uniko Strike a Pose stamp set stamped in SU Night of Navy ink onto watercolour paper. I stamped lil monster in stazon brown ink after masking off the sides and coloured with Intense pencils and Royal Langnickel watercolour pencils. I mounted this onto some real red cardstock. He needed a little sentiment so I used some scrap bits of yellow cardstock and stamped with SU Banner Blast in SU Night of Navy ink and punched with the co ordinating punch.

School holidays now and I have lots planned to do.

Thanks for stopping.

Cheers

Smarties…

Smarties with the extra challenge of using a die or punch.

This is the challenge at the Lollipop Ladies this fortnight.

I made this card

IMG_3704

I used American Craft orange card stock along with the sentiment from Annabelle stamps Lil Monster’s Balloon rounded with a punch and layered onto Annabelle stamps die. The “smarties” are sequins. I purchased a lunch bag full from a local trimming and remnant shop a little while back.

While I had the sequins out I made this too

IMG_3706

I punched the balloon using a 1 1/4″ circle punch. The sentiment is from Stampin UP! Sweet Essentials and I hand drew the balloon string. I was going to use twine Miss A insisted that I draw it. I glued the sequins to the card front and added the top layer with foam tabs to pop it up.

Off to a Pink Ribbon Fundraising luncheon now. Looking forward to a great afternoon for a great cause.

Thanks for visiting

Monster Gift Tag…

Mr M (15) has a birthday party tonight and I have made this gift card holder.IMG_3595

I have used Annabelle stamps Lil Monster’s Balloon stamped in SU ink coloured with alcohol markers, fussy cut and popped up with foam tape. The sentiment is from the same set stamped with versafine onyx black. The gift card is a simple rectangle from Kaisercraft cardstock scored, folded and stuck with double sided tape with a circle punch at the top to make getting the gift card out easier.

I am linking this up to

One for the hard working guys…

IMG_3494

Well how time does get away between posts.

I have used a free digi from Birdie Brown coloured using markers (SU Lucky Limeade, Midnight Muse, Tim Holtz Antique linen – my substitute for crumb cake!). I moved the colour around with my aqua marker before fussy cutting and popping up with foam tabs. I die cut an Ezy press cog die and used a lifestyle crafts nesting circle to cut out the centre in SU whisper white. This is all fixed to a crumb cake card front embossed using SU stripes embossing folder. I have also die cut MFT tool charms in midnight muse.  The sentiment is from ABS Lil Monster’s Balloon.

Moustache…

IMG_3422

I have used MFT Dienamics Masculine Graphic Tee – cut to make a gift tag. You may just be able to see the black True Hemp Twine I popped in the base – I didn’t want to put a whole in the front of the Tee! Although my 15 year old likes his Tees that way – I think because even though he has lots of tees without holes the ones he wears time after time have a holes. Anyway I also used the MFT Masculine Graphic Tee stamp set for the moustache, Annabelle Stamps BBD3 and Lil Monster’s Balloon stamp sets. All stamped with Versafine Onyx Black. The tee on the right I added some stitching detail with a black fine liner and the one on the left I used a SU black ink pad to add some colour.  Almost forgot I also used my painters tape to mask the tee on the right as I thought the border stamp was a bit wide for the effect I wanted.  I did think the moustache would look great with some black flocking powder – you know to look like hair but I don’t have any – something else for my wish list!

This is my post for the Lollipop Ladies this fortnight – pop on over and take a peek. As Susan mentioned in her post there was a disappointing interest in the last challenge – and as a result the prize went unclaimed.

Moustache and the additional challenge of Facial Hair!

Happy Mail – AnnaBelle Stamps Little Monster

WOW. I won the weekly challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps a few weeks ago for my card in the Spots and Dots anything round challenge

https://frommycraftroom.wordpress.com/2012/08/30/annabelle-stamps-challenges/

and my prize is Lil Monster’s Balloon.

He arrived late yesterday and I had to ink him up. So I thought I would put another entry into the Lollipop Ladies challenge – hope that isn’t against the challenge rules.

http://thelollipopladies.blogspot.com.au/

I used Tim Holtz Markers (Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Tea Dye, Spiced Marmalade, Weathered Wood, Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire), SU Marker (Not Quite Navy) and Marvy Le Plume Markers (Orange and Cream Yellow) to colour him in before popping him onto the card top with foam tabs. I added Kaisercraft orange rhinestones to his crown. The background is embossed using Tim Holtz Bricked folder. The DSP is from Doodlebug – Boys Only.

He is a very cheeky looking monster.

Hope you are having a good day. Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers
