Season’s Greetings…

IMG_3792

Hi. My second post for today. I have been making a bit of dent in the Christmas Cards.

I have used Annabelle stamps Round for Christmas, Ornamental Christmas and Gifted Swirls. I stamped the images in SU Pacific Point – some I also used clear embossing powder and versamark before heating with my heat tool. After I stamped the baubles from Ornamental Christmas I added Wink of Stella to them. All the sentiments are stamped in versafine onyx black. The cardstock is Blue passion from La Carta.

and another pic of the box

I made the box by starting with the card stock (Kaisercraft) base size, adding the side measurement, cutting, scoring and taping. I did the same for the acetate lid. This box has 6 cards (2 of each) plus the envelopes. I could fit a few more in as these are flat cards.

I am linking this up to the following challenges – Click on the images to take you to the sites

Seeing Stars…

What do you think these? No quite how I pictured them but my kiddos think they are cool.

IMG_3597

I have used Annabelle stamps a boy’s party and stamped the large star using SU ink in real red, lucky limeade, garden green, daffodil delight, pumpkin pie and tempting turquoise and the small stars I have used markers and picked one star and coloured from the circle of stars from the same set. The sparkly paper is punched using CP1 Carl star punch. The sentiment is from Annabelle stamps Garden Silhouettes.

For my second card

IMG_3598

I have again used SU inks and stamped the star from Annabelle stamps a boy’s party – I then cut them all out by hand. I die cut a star using Xcut star die in the front of my card base. I made a pouch with acetate sheet and put my stars, some glitter and gold star sequins into it before sealing it and taping to the inside of the front of the card. I stamped the sentiment from Annabelle stamps Ornamental Christmas in SU real red.

These are my creations for my post this week at The Lollipop Ladies – Stars and sparkle.

Pop over and check out the prize on offer this time.

Thanks for popping by

Birdie Brown November Challenge

I used a free image from Birdie Brown – and I’m linking my card up to the November Challenge.

http://birdiebrown.blogspot.jp/2012/11/november-freebies-challenge.html

I coloured the image using Tim Holtz and Stampin Up! markers. I used paper from Hot of the Press Forever Christmas and MME Snowed in Winter papers. The twine is from Spotlight and the sentiment is from AnnaBelle Stamps Ornamental Christmas.  I layered the image using Courture Creations nesting dies and black cardstock.

Slowly getting through my list of “to do”.  Have a number of birthdays in the next 10 days or so and a couple of friends having ops. Busy time.

Before I go wanted to share a pic of my gardenias. A crafty blogger and DT member I follow shared her gardenia a few days ago – so just thought I’d share mine too.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

I have edited this post to remove the free digi – If you would like it please go to the original site!

CTS #5 & Jay Gee’s Nook Challenge #25

I have used ME Polar Pals & Believe in Magic along with the sentiment from AnnaBelle Stamps Ornamental Christmas. I coloured using various markers from SU and Marvy Le Plume. CS and ink are SU (tempting turquoise).

I followed the sketch from CAS(E) #5 and I am linking up to that challenge.

I am also linking this card to this challenge at Jay Gee’s Nook.

I think the turquoise matches the baubles. I do like these penguins – even though it is hot here at Christmas – they are so cute!

Hope to be back later with another card.

Have a great day.

Cheers

Christmas Wishes

I have been trying to find time all week to put this card together – I had this idea soon after my die arrived when I had bits on my work space.  I had to prioritize the birthdays first.

I have used the cuts by design border die from Annabelle stamps and SU Ornament punch. Sparkle paper is from Grace Taylor, twine from PTI and sentiment stamped in SU Night of Navy  from AnnaBelle stamps. Bauble strings drawn with fine liner and ruler – although I do have a stamp somewhere to do this! It came together pretty quickly so imagine I could do a few of these for Christmas in no time.

I am entering this into the monthly challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps.

Busy day shopping today – Clothes and food – two things four children always need!

Thanks for stopping

What was in my parcel?

So what was in my parcel yesterday?

My new die from AnnaBelle Stamps.  Had to have this when I saw it released last week.

I have used AnnaBelle Stamps Cuts by design border die, Ornamental Christmas and Round for Christmas sentiments to create the background.

I am going to enter these into the monthly challenge at Stamp Embellish Create http://stampembellishcreate.ning.com/

School holidays are here. My son has finished for the term. Girls and my husband finish tomorrow – two weeks with everyone home. At least the weather is looking good and we should be able to get out and do somethings outside. Looking forward to that.

Going to try and get some dance costumes made while the girls are home for fittings – only 10 weeks until the concert and I only have 3 costumes out of 11 or 12 made!

Thanks for stopping by – especially if you came back a second time today for my second post!

Cheers
