NBUS Challenge #25

Hello

I have a few cards to share so with fingers crossed hope to be popping in a few times over the next little while to share with you.

Today I thought I would start with some NBUS from Jane’s Doodles.

Thought I best start with these as I have more of Jane’s goodies on their way!

Sloths from Weird

I stamped various leaves in the cut out section before popping up my sloth with foam tabs. All images are coloured with alcohol markers.

Again popped up with foam tabs. I used the cut out from the first card as the mount on this one.

And a little camper! I sponged the background and fussy cut the trees and camper before popping them on with foam tabs.

A few love inspired cards…

Hello

Today I have a few love inspired cards to share.

First time I have used the set “Dogs” from Jane’s Doodles. I am linking this card up to the current challenge at NBUS.

I used an old PTI stamp set and SU punch for this card.

More PTI!

I used an unnamed bird stamp (it’s so old I have no idea where I got it from!) I created the Heart by making a mask from a die cut, stampinig within the mask then I added some talking lines. To finish I added the sentiment from YNS.

The last one for today uses stamps,dies & punches from SU. I created my own pattern paper by randomly stamping words and images.

Papersmooches We Adore You…

I purchased this a little while ago during a promotion Kim was having over at Papersmooches.  

I coloured these little guys with alcohol markers and popped them up on the card front.

I thought I would try and use some pattern paper. Well a little bit anyway!

Short post today.  I need to go cut out some soft toy dinosaurs!

And yet more NBUS …

Yes more NBUS for the current challenge here

For this card I used NBUS images from Uniko Originally Organic and Originally Organic Additions. Sentiment is from Mudra Purely sentiments brushed used for the first time in the last post.

I coloured my images with SU markers (pear pizzazz, lemon lime twist, daffodil delight) and flowers stamped with calypso coral.

My moutain of NBUS is slightly smaller (for now!) must use some of the things that have been sitting there for a while and also make a dent in the pile of things started and not finished.  Please tell me I am not alone.

I also have a couple of knitting and sewing projects on the go.  Must get some pics up.

For this card I used NBUS Distress Oxides (picked up from Paperific recently and SBB winnings) and NBUS Jane’s Doodles Dinomite and NBUS Mundra Purely Sentiments brushed.  I also stamped some grass and foliage. I coloured Jane’s images with alcohol markers and fussy cut before adding to my completed card front with foam tabs.

I was lucky enough to win the SBB August challenge I am using some new goodies here.  NBUS  MFT cause for celebration dies and Nuvo glitter drops along with some things from my stash silver mirri card, foam and navy cs.

This pic shows the sun catching the silver mirri card.

This will be great for the up coming birthdays. Miss A has 4 invites at the moment! no doubt Ms E, Ms S and Mr M will also have some requests soon.

I will be back soon as I have been playing with some more NBUS stuff.

My Boo Boo…

When I saw Darnell’s new Boo Boo challenge and her card I remembered I made this recently perfect to share here.

Head over and check it out.  I also think Darnell took a peek in my craftroom! Mine has a similar look most of the time! Hubby just rolls his eyes when he visits. My answer is if it bothers him so much don’t come in!

My card

Now the Boo Boo may not be obvious at first.  But I did exactly what Darnell did. I placed the pattern paper pattern upside down! The little banners are meant to be more like “W’s” then “M’s”.  Thankfully none of the kiddos critics noticed this.

I used SU Up and Away paper, CS and a NBUS stamp set SU Any Occasion.

Off to do some tiding up so I can play in my room!

Super Birthday…

I forgot to come back and share this birthday card I made for Mr M’s birthday last week.  He turned 19.

I used a new NBUS SU stamp Super Duper coloured with markers (using my new NBUS stampmaster stamping tool too) and fussy cut before popping up on some old pattern paper.  Finished the card with some enamel dots.

Mr M had a few friends over to help him celebrate and we had chicken and lamb on the spit.  The spit is a recent purchase which we used for Ms E’s 21st in December (cooked lamb and chicken) and Christmas day (3 large turkeys).    Unfortunately we had a little incident when one of the boys slam dunked into the basketball ring and sliced his finger.  Had to call his parents to take him to hospital.  He ended up with plastic surgery and 8 weeks off work! He is an apprentice mechanic.  Fortunately no tendon damage but a really serious cut.  Must add he hadn’t had a drink.
