Hello
I have had a crafty week! I spent yesterday at the very first Altenew Workshop in Australia with the lovely Tasnim (and her family) and Therese from lostinpaper. I got to meet the lovely warm and extremely friendly Therese in person after years of talking through forums and blogs. I also meet in person the lovely Aileen from colourandsparkle for the first time and loads of other crafty people. I’ll share more in a later post as the sets we used have not been released yet. Yes I have decided my cards are blog worthy after all.
Anyway on with what else I have been creating. I received some new sets last week and inked them up straight away – a rare thing indeed!
I have also made a conscience decision to make the NBUS pile on my desk extinct! The first cards are from my NBUS stash. I do shop at times faster than I can create – I know I am not alone here!
My first card is using Concord and 9th Happy Day set which I have had for a while I teamed this with sentiments from Your next Stamp What not sentiments 4. I made two cards using this set. The first I coloured with watercolour pencils and added highlights with markers and the second I coloured with alcohol markers.
The first one I am entering into the challenge at Double D here and Bizzy Bec’s anything goes here.

and the second card using alcohol markers. I fussy cut the main image and popped up with foam tabs.

My parcel was from Jane’s Doodles. Jane had generously offered a free mini cupcake stamp set with orders on the recent International Women’s day. Here it is coloured with alcohol markers and a sentiment from Jane’s Birthday Wishes set.

I also inked up Jane’s Doodles Magnolia and Mother’s Day sets.

and my last card for today is a request. For sometime now I have been making cards for mum I know who gives her daughter chick themed cards. This one is for easter and uses SU Honeycomb Happiness and ABS Easter Chickadee coloured with watercolour pencils and markers.

I commend you for getting to the end of this post! Thanks for stopping by.
Until next time
Cheers
Vicki
