CTS #5 & Jay Gee’s Nook Challenge #25

I have used ME Polar Pals & Believe in Magic along with the sentiment from AnnaBelle Stamps Ornamental Christmas. I coloured using various markers from SU and Marvy Le Plume. CS and ink are SU (tempting turquoise).

I followed the sketch from CAS(E) #5 and I am linking up to that challenge.

I am also linking this card to this challenge at Jay Gee’s Nook.

I think the turquoise matches the baubles. I do like these penguins – even though it is hot here at Christmas – they are so cute!

Breast Cancer Fund Raiser Luncheon

Today I have had the pleasure of attending an Annual Cancer Fund Raiser Lunch organised by a group of friends.

I did manage to make these little decorations which the girls popped into cakes and jelly slice.

A fun day eating, playing games and most importantly raising money for a good cause.

Moxiefab – World card making – Love

A friend has asked me to make a Wedding card and it just happens to coincide with World Card Making Day Challenge at Moxiefab – Love. So I thought I would enter this card there.

I have used Fiskars toss the bouquet, SU So Saffron, Tim Holtz Scattered Straw, Teresa Collins – Everyday Moments, X Cut Lace Trim border punch and various circle punches.

Bottle Tag

A quick little tag I made up and thought I would enter into the AnnaBelle Stamps challenge this week – Christmas 3D

I tried to take a shot of the tag only to give a better look …

Used up some card stock from my stash along with DSP from Lily bee Design – Jingle Tiny Tablet. I also used AnnaBelle Stamps Round for Christmas – sentiment and the snow flakes stamped in SU Marina Mist ink  back ground are from AnnaBelle Stamps Gifted Swirls. I also used Fiskars border punch, EK Success 1 1/8″ and 1 1/4″ circle punches. This all came together rather quickly.

I watched a tutorial at stampembelishcreate earlier today. It was a technique I had seen before, but I had forgotten about. I must try it this time! So hopefully I will be back with something else to share before the end of the week.

In case you are curious the school performance went well. There was one little convict who was trying really really hard not to smile. They were suppose to be all serious and stern looking – just as well she is small and cute!  She did however do a really mean scary face in the “fight” part of the act … umm has that got something to do with being the youngest of 4? In summing up it was a great concert. As we have ordered the DVD we will be able to watch it over and over again – and she will!

AnnaBelle Stamps Challenges

Another post for today. Sorry bit long with the photos today.

I made this flower following the tutorial by Sue K at Annabelle stamps. http://stampembellishcreate.ning.com/profiles/blogs/topical-tuesday-tt029-paper-flower

I don’t have the matching stamp for the die yet so I cheated a little and used spotted paper from Gelati Basics. I don’t mind how this flower turned out. I have added a pin to the back so it can be used as a birthday badge. The matching card is below. I used AnnaBelle’s Boys Party set and stamped the sentiment using SU Real Red and Night of Navy. I used red cardstock and blue spot paper from Gelati basics and punched out circles using Fiskars 2″ , EK Success 1 3/4″, 1 1/4″  and Carl 3/4″ circle punches. I embossed the red cardstock using Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing Folder.

Not sure if you can notice the slit in the card just below the birthday cake. I put that there so I could attach the badge like this …

I am going to enter this into two challenges at AnnaBelle Stamps the first being the August challenge of Flowers and the second being the weekly challenge of spots and round.

Tradies have arrived so must go check how things are going.

Sunny Challenges SC 055/12 + SU Happy You

I bet you didn’t think I would be back so soon! I have made this card for the Sunny Challenge SC055/12 – sketch + Christmas.

I have used MME DSP from a magazine along with cardstock from my stack and SU Happy You stamp set. I also used AnnaBelle Stamps Round for Christmas sentiment and markers as per earlier post. I used a 1 1/4″ circle punch to punch out wreaths and added them to the  card with foam tape.

July Challenges

  I am going to enter this in the Scrapbook Boutique July Challenge – one for the boys and in AnnaBelle Stamps July Challenge – Polka dot hit. This is my first challenge entry for Scrapbook Boutique.  Last month at AnnaBelle stamps my entry won the June 2012 challenge.

   

Products used include Marine textured cardstock Scrapbook Boutique,Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder, Tim Holtz embossing diffuser, Quickutz Epic 6,  AnnaBelle stamps Boy’s Party, Papertey Ink Tiny Tags and twine, EK Success 1 1/4″ and 1 3/4″ circle punch, Fiskars 2″ punch, Stampin UP! Pacific point ink and Versafine onxy black ink.

I intend to enter this card into the There she Goes TSG166 challenge. I haven’t entered there before either.

Products used include

Scrap cardstock. Beautiful butterflies and Little Lady from Papertrey Ink. Organza ribbon from Kaisercraft. Inks used Bashful blue, So Saffron and basic grey from Stampin UP! and Versafine Onyx black.

The last card I am sharing today is just for fun.

I have paper pierced the images using scrap cardstock and then cut them out. I hadn’t tried paper piercing until a few weeks ago and I am so glad I did. The stamps sets used are Fine and Sunny from Kaisercraft and “hello” from Stampin UP! Pennant Parade. Ink used is Versafine onyx black. I also used a marker from Marvy Le Plume to colour the beaks.
