I made this card following a sketch at Whimsie Doodles
I haven’t actually used any stamps. I used various circle punches to create this owl. I followed this example by Tanja Kolar here http://www.tanjakolar.de/?p=1503
I was originally going to use a stamped image – but changed my mind after colouring the image. I’ll use that another day – or give it to Miss 8 to put on her book covers for school.
I’m also linking this up to the challenge at UnstampaBelles #19
I used only one die – the leaf die. If I had thought a little more I could have used circle dies instead of punches!
Been to the Melbourne Zoo this morning. Beautiful new baby boy elephant – no name yet.
Hope you are having a great start to the week. Still thinking about all the people in the fire zones – keep safe.
A busy week(end) for us.
Miss 12 is now Miss 13 and these are the cake toppers for her party on Saturday night.
I used ABS stamps, the new ABS digi paper and the back was plain card stock. I posted a pic of her birthday card a few days ago – so if you missed it scroll down.
She celebrated with about 15 girls at home with pizza.
And Miss 7 is Miss 8 today these are the cake toppers for her party on Sunday and she celebrated with 14 girls and some party pies, chips and other party food.
I used PTI tiny birthday treats and cardstock.
I used ABS Tomorrow’s Dream for her card coloured with markers before being cut out along with MSS Simple Salutations, Creativ ABC and PTI Heart-2-Heart #2 for the balloon. I also used paper from Jillibean Soup and MFT die.
Now don’t think it’s all over – later in the week Miss 16 will be Miss 17 – so I will be back later in the week to share her card.
Thanks for visiting and taking time to leave such lovely comments.
Just realized I have been rather absent this last week. Sorry. Been a very busy week with dance dress rehersals, some fund raising, shopping (3 girls have birthdays soon) and final week of school for Miss 16 – they stagger stop from now until 21st December. We finally had the dance concert – all went well all 3 girls did a great job.
We finished the week with another 13th birthday party and a 50th. I made this card for the 50th and am going to enter it into JAI challenge and The Play date cafe challenge.
I used Stampin UP! card stock, SU Happy You and SU markers.
Hope you have had a great weekend.
A friend has asked me to make a Wedding card and it just happens to coincide with World Card Making Day Challenge at Moxiefab – Love. So I thought I would enter this card there.
I have used Fiskars toss the bouquet, SU So Saffron, Tim Holtz Scattered Straw, Teresa Collins – Everyday Moments, X Cut Lace Trim border punch and various circle punches.
Hope your having a fabulous weekend. Been another busy one here.
I made this little set of gift cards
Nice to have something on hand for a quick gift.
I used mostly SU proucts (Easy Events Stamp set, Subtles CS & Twitterpated DSP) along with circle punches. I also used We R Memory Keepers twine and glitter and jewels from my stash.
Hope your day has started well. Busy busy. My 7 year old is soooo excited that her school concert is tonight. She has got me all organised and herself. She has even done her own hair before she went to school! It needs to be in a bun. Make up out ready to go, shoes and costume all sorted. And I might add I didn’t have to ask! Now all I have to do is get her to teach her big sister!
Thanks for stopping by.
My parcel from the Rafflecopter widgets over at Market Street Stamps arrived yesterday. I was lucky to be drawn the winner of My Thoughts Exactly new release stamp set.
I have made this card
I have a birthday party to go to in a few weeks – so I made this for the Birthday girl. I have used MSS ABC Background stamped in PTI Pure Poppy ink. The arrows are from MSS My Thoughts exactly stamped with SU Night of Navy ink. The Birthday sentiment is from AnnaBelle Stamps Boy’s Party and the numbers are from a set I got from Kmart.
Checked the birthday book and I have a few more birthdays this month – so I’ll be back with more.
Another post for today. Sorry bit long with the photos today.
I made this flower following the tutorial by Sue K at Annabelle stamps. http://stampembellishcreate.ning.com/profiles/blogs/topical-tuesday-tt029-paper-flower
I don’t have the matching stamp for the die yet so I cheated a little and used spotted paper from Gelati Basics. I don’t mind how this flower turned out. I have added a pin to the back so it can be used as a birthday badge. The matching card is below. I used AnnaBelle’s Boys Party set and stamped the sentiment using SU Real Red and Night of Navy. I used red cardstock and blue spot paper from Gelati basics and punched out circles using Fiskars 2″ , EK Success 1 3/4″, 1 1/4″ and Carl 3/4″ circle punches. I embossed the red cardstock using Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing Folder.
Not sure if you can notice the slit in the card just below the birthday cake. I put that there so I could attach the badge like this …
I am going to enter this into two challenges at AnnaBelle Stamps the first being the August challenge of Flowers and the second being the weekly challenge of spots and round.
Tradies have arrived so must go check how things are going.
Bye for now. Thanks again for stopping.
This weeks challenge at AnnaBelle stamps is a colour challenge.
I used AnnaBelle Stamps Flowers for you – I really like this stamp set, lots of variety and small simple designs which are great to colour. I stamped with Stazon Black onto SU watercolour paper and coloured with SU cherry cobbler ink & blender pen & aqua painter. I also used Tim Holtz markers Barn Door, Shabby Shutters and crushed olive. The flower centres are Bobunny zoology jewels. Cardbases from cream cardstock.
In the first card I punched the stamped & coloured images using EK Success 1 3/4″ punch and fixed to AC cardstock punched with Fiskars 2″ punch I decided to pop these up with foam tape. I created a background on the old olive cardstock using one of the images repeated in old olive ink before adding some jute twine and the sentiment tag.
In the second card I used SU crumb cake on the edges of the paper before attaching to AC cardstock. I embossed a piece of SU old olive card stock with SU Elecgant Bouquet folder added some Kaisercraft green organza ribbon and adhered the stamped panel to this. Again I used BoBunny zoology jewels.
The monthly challenge is flowers – so I will be entering these cards there as well.
Hope you have enjoyed your visit – thanks for stopping bye.
These are a couple of cards I made a few weeks ago using Papertrey Ink Tremendous Treats Birthday stamp set along with sentiments from Birthday tags and Heart-2-Heart #2. I used EK Success 1 3/4″ and Fiskars 2″ circle punches for the images. The pattern paper in the top card is from a magazine while the bottom card the paper is Romani from Basic Grey. I used Stampin UP! inks to stamp the images. The sentiment circles are popped up with foam tape. Quick and easy cards to put together.
Thanks for taking a look.
