Unstampabelles Stencil Play ….

Hello

Today I am popping in to share my creation for the current challenge at Unstampabelles here

I started by sponging some blue ink through the stencil.  I then added Altenew antique gold spray over the top.  The blue ink now has a nice green tone. As you can see some parts of the stencil are gold only.  Now you will have to take my word for it it looks better in real life! I added my stencil to a cardstock mount of similar colour and then to my card base.  I finished by adding a sentiment die cut from Elizabeth Crafts in both cardstock and foam.  Now if you are like me and don’t really like the mess of sprays this went OK with minimal mess so have a play.  Might play with these again 😉  If you don’t have stencils or sprays there are some great tips and ideas on the Unstampabelles Blog take a peek.

Well I hope you are staying warm. If you around my part of the world we have had a touch of winter this last weekend.

Hope to see you in the challenge

Don’t forget no stamps!

Thanks for stopping

Cheers

Vicki

I used some bright (and cheerful!) pattern paper form MME Lime twist which I have had in my stash for a while! I know I’m not alone.  Time to use a few bits.  I punched several pieces with 1 1/4″ square punch and arranged directly onto my card base.  I then added the die cut sentiment and number for a significant birthday.  The numbers are also die cut with fun foam to add dimension.  I hope you like the bold black against the bright colours.
Look forward to seeing you in the challenge – remember no stamps and you have until 1st March midnight AEST.
I am going to link this up to the current challenge at Seize the Birthday.  I haven’t played in this challenge for so so long! here
Cheers

Challenge#80: Flowers and more flowers
TWIST Bling it up! here
Remember there is a prize
I have tried to bling up my floral cards.
In a fruitless attempt to make a dent in my pattern paper I have used 2 pieces to create 2 cards.  I blinged them up with sequins, gold foil paper and glittery die cuts.
Some pretty pattern paper from Inspired by Stamping along with gold foil die cut sentiment from Elizabeth craft designs and a few sequins.  Today would have been my Gran’s birthday.  I think she would have liked this card.  She loved her flowers and butterflies (there is one in the top corner).

This one uses some vintage paper from MME Miss Caroline 6×6 paper pad.  There is a sentiment on the paper “start everyday with a smile”.  I added die cut flower and leaves (freeby with a magazine) and sequins.  I added kindy glitz first but wasn’t overally happy with the result so glued sequins on top!

Hope you find some time to join the challenge I’m sure you have some flowers and bling in your stash!

Until next time

Cheers
