A couple more for Mother’s Day…

Hello

I am sharing a few cards I have made for a stall I will have at the Mother’s Day Artisan Market at Sussex Street Neighbourhood house here or here.

This first one if for the mum who is a tea drinker.

mothers day 2016 (640x479)

I have teamed Jane’s Doodles Tearrific with ABS Designer flowers and coloured with alcohol markers.

mother's day 2016 (503x640)

And for the mum who likes coffee Jane’s Doodles Coffee Time with ABS Designer Flowers.  A little masking this time and again coloured with Alcohol markers.  I was lucky enough to win the Jane’s Doodles Coffee time stamp set from SRM recently.

What do you prefer? Coffee or Tea?

For me I have cut down to usually one coffee per day and almost no black tea (I use to drink a lot of both) to drinking green teas and herbal infusions. Ms E (20) and I have a dedicated tea shelf.  And don’t ask how many pots or infusers we have!

Lastly this one

ABS April 2016 (480x640)

Using ABS Designer Flowers and Hero Arts Be Happy.

Enjoy your weekend.

Cheers

Ahoy me hearties…

Sorry couldn’t help that.

This weeks challenge at the Lollipop Ladies is Pirate Lollipops and water.

I made this card using a digi image from http://madamebogg.blogspot.com.au/ coloured with markers along with stamps from Hero Arts and My Cute Stamps. Plus Heidi Grace patterned paper,  cardstock from my stash and Sizzix Woodgrain embossing folder.

I tore the cardstock and layered before stamping my images onto the underwater scene. I stamped the shells and star fish onto scraps and cut out before adding to the water. The Pirate is standing on a piece of embossed woodgrain cardstock – like a part of a ship or a jetty. The sun is stamped and a punched circle added for the centre.

I was having fun so I made a second card.

Using PTI Tremendous  Treats, My Cute Stamps – Fishy Fun and AnnaBelle Stamps Boy’s Party images. I have coloured the pirate with alcohol markers and Tim Holtz black soot.  I added some sparkle to my pirate with some glitter on his skull and cross.  I layered by using circle punches and popped up with foam tabs. The little boats are coloured with SU markers before being hand cut.

Just sharing…

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Sadly I have made this card for Miss S (13) to give to one of her class mates.  I personally don’t know the family, but it is sad when you can empathise with what the family is going through and will continue to live with.

I have used Hero Arts Be Happy and a recent win from The Craft’s Meow Soaring High.

Thanks for stopping by.

Vicki

PS – It’s still hot. So hot I didn’t have to bake my top mat from my Epic 6 – I just popped it in the sun for a bit and it was flat again. I usually put them in the oven after we take the food out!

Hope to share something more cheerful before the end of the week.

For the boys…

The second card I used some of the punched out pieces from the first card for the boat. I stamped some additional boats and the sun and coloured them with markers. I also had a printed border I added to the bottom.

I am linking these upto the following challenges

I won the punch and paper (haven’t used this paper here) at Fiskars here

and here http://fiskarscraft.typepad.com/my_weblog/2013/01/celebrating-10-years-with-fiskars.html. A generous prize.  I couldn’t wait to use the punch – it is so easy to use.

Busy day today. Dropped DH at work in Werribee and took the children out to the Werribee Open Range Zoo. We went in the new safari bus – 4 carriages! Beautiful weather for the zoo today.  School holidays are nearly over – DH goes back Tuesday, Miss 8 Wednesday and the others stagger from there over the next week.

Tomorrow I’m popping into work then book club girls are out to dinner and a movie. We are off to see the Life of Pi – that was the last book we read. Not sure the movie will be like the book any way I’ll know tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by for a peek – I enjoy reading the lovely comments you leave.

Cheers
