Stars and Trains …

Hello

I have a few things to share today.

Ms 10 helped me last week sort through my stash and we found a few gaps. Mainly due to the fact I make as I need. So I have been making a couple of things over the last few days to fill those gaps.

And doing so I am linking up to a few challenges as well

This first card I made in two colour ways using a range of stars from Annabelle Stamps Boy’s Party, Uniko Balloon Bash, Inspired by Stamping Build a Stocking, Papertrey Ink Star Prints and sentiment from Papertrey Ink.

I stamped my image from Stamp It and mounted onto chocolate coloured card stock. The pattern paper is from a Kaisercraft pad along with the tag I stamped the sentiment on. The sentiment is from PTI World’s Greatest.

I also have a little update on my jumper.

I am knitting in Bendigo Woollen Mills Athena yarn I purchased last year. It is lovely and soft.

I started with SU Very vanilla cs 5cm x 8.5cm. Using the Scallop tag topper punch I created a tag and finished by rounding the corners. The inks I have used are SU Cherry Cobbler, SU Baked Brown Sugar, SU Always Artichoke and Memento Tuxedo black. The stamp sets used are IBS Build a stocking, IBS Holiday Ornaments, IBS Sugar & Spice and SU Holiday Home. The tags are finished with SU cherry cobbler tulle ribbon.

The gifts for my book club friends next week.

Book labels, book mark made using Jane’s Doodles stamp sets see post here and some Christmas tags. The box is an adaption from Sam’s at Pootles here. Thank you. I used some SU patterned paper (Be of good cheer).

Last night my friend and I crafted from 8 pm – 1 am making paper Santas – 12 for her and nearly 30 for me. This took a little longer than I thought but it was nice to chat and craft at a leisurely pace.  I will share some pics later in the week when the Santas get their arms and legs!

Build a stocking…

Hello

I have used the colour inspiration from the current challenge at Inspired by Stamping

For these cards I have used Inspired by Stamping Build a stocking and Festive Frames stamp sets, SU Ink and Lily Bee design Jingle tiny tablet paper pad.

Whilst I had these sets out I also created these cards

I used Inspired by Stamping Christmas Wreath, Build a stocking and Festival Frames with Lily bee patterned paper.

A busy few days coming up.

Miss 9 has School sports day, Mr 16 has a Yr 12 exam even though he is in Yr11 followed by his Yr 11 exams and Ms 18 & Ms 14 have parties to go to.

Next week is dance dress rehersal I have one or two adjustments to make and finish dresses/costumes for Ms 18 and Ms 14.

I hope to get some creating done – even if it is just with my new library buddies. One lady has just purchased a big shot so she has been bringing it for show and tell. It is a blast to see her having such a great time.
