Nautical Treasures…

And here is my card

I created my own patterned paper using Uniko Nautical Treasures in SU River Rock and Smoky Slate inks. The main image from Uniko Nautical Treasures is stamped with SU Smoky slate ink. I mounted with SU night of navy cardstock. I used Mama Elephant Sew Fancy Dies to create waves, pattern beside the main image and the stitching around the sentiment panel. I also used Inspired by Stamping Fancy Label dies 3 and a 2″ circle punch for the sentiment panel. The sentiment is from PTI Star prints stamped in SU night of Navy ink. The sentiment panel was attached to some double sided adhesive paper I have had for ages and attached to some fun foam to give dimension. The twine is from Annabelle Stamps.

Uniko background builder vines…

Today’s card I am linking up to the current challenge at Uniko

Challenge #21 – Happy Birthday Bev here

I started by stamping images from Uniko Background builders Vines with SU Lucky Limeade and Old Olive. I used Tim Holtz Abandoned coral to stamp a few flowers. The sentiment is from Uniko Classic numbers stamped in memento tuxedo black ink. I finished the flower centres with liquid pearls. The stamped image was die cut using Inspired by stamping Fancy Label dies 3 and mounted with foam tape onto a Victorian Rectangle die cut from green cardstock from my stash.

Please ignore the black dot and the poor photography – I appear to have something on my camera lens! The colours are as in the first pic.

A late Mother’s Day share…

Today I am sharing the Mother’s Day card I made for my Gran. A little late. I didn’t get a chance to visit Gran until late last week. Gran has become forgetful so she didn’t notice I was a few days late.  It can be rather funny some days to explain who you are!

I used Annabelle Stamps Designer Flowers, Stemmed Flowers (leaf) and Butterfly Sunshine (sentiment). The inks I used were SU Smoky slate, Lucky Limeade, Daffodil Delight and Tim Holtz Abandoned coral (reinker + uninked pad). The sentiment is also from Annabelle Stamps Designer Flowers stamped in Memento Tuxedo black and die cut with Inspired by Stamping Fancy Label Dies 3 and PTI oval limitless layers dies.

A christmas tree…

I am sharing another card I have made using Jane’s Doodles digital stamps

I am linking up to the challenge at Craftyhazelnut’s Christmas Challenge Blog

I have once again coloured Jane’s image with alcohol markers. I added a wink of stella and glossy accents to the christmas lights. The patterned paper is old SU and the sentiment is another computer generated sentiment from my stash die cut with Inspired by stamping banner die and popped up with foam tabs.

A little Christmas with Jane’s Doodles…

I am sharing a card I have made using a digital stamp from Jane’s Doodles.

I am linking up to the challenges at

This is a digital stamp from Jane’s Doodles. I coloured him with alcohol markers. He has some wink of stella on his nose and the ground as well as some glossy accents on his nose. The card front is some Kaisercraft patterned paper. I popped the oval die cut snowman up with foam tape. The snowflakes are from a carl punch.  To finish I added a computer generated sentiment I found in my Christmas stash and die cut with the banner die from Inspired by Stamping.

Some new things …

I was recently lucky to receive a little prize bundle from Inspired by Stamping.

I have used new never before IBS Flowers Bloom, IBS Fancy Label Dies 1, IBS Vintage Floral Paper Pad and ribbon along with some things I already had IBS Fancy Label Dies 3, SU crumb cake cs nd SU Crumb cake and Bashful blue ink. A couple of gold brads to finish off this card.

Yesterday I took Ms 9 to a craft fair in Geelong. Boy did she have a great day. The stall holders where so lovely to her. The only purchases where for her stash plus she scored a couple of little extras for the generous stall holders.  I didn’t add to my stash at all. We have a Roxy long socks pattern which she had to have so hoping during the school holidays we will make this up – I have some fabric left from her quilt so the plan is to use this. Ms 9 has fallen in love with an embroidery machine so sweet I had to explain place value of decimals to her – she misunderstood $xxx as $x.xx! If only it was $x.xx.

We also made 4 poppies whilst we were there for the Geelong Wool Museum display.

IBSC #85 with a little Sympathy…

This is the challenge at Inspired by Stamping

I have created this card using the sketch and the soft stone colours. Always handy to have one or two sympathy cards on hand – hope I haven’t the need.

I used IBS Big Notes III stamped with SU Brown Sugar and distressed with PTI Classic Kraft to soften. I die cut using a Sizzix die. I layered onto IBS Fancy Label Dies 3 cut from Fawn la carte paper. I added a piece of SU Sweet Sorbet DSP to the store bought card base. The butterfly is punched twice – once in vellum and once in fawn cs using SU Bitty Butterfly punch.
