Santa Peace…

Hello

Please join my Facebook page

Today I am sharing a great Santa digi from Jane’s Doodles here.

and I am linking up to Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas challenge

Peace Santa Jane's Doodles

I coloured him with alcohol markers. He has a little glossy accents on his mug and some flocking on his moustache, cuffs and edge of his jacket. Perhaps next time I will add it to his beard and eyebrows as well! I used some SU paper on the card front and popped the image up with foam tabs. The sentiment is from a sticker sheet I came across in my stash.

 Thanks for stopping

Cheers

A christmas tree…

Hello

I am sharing another card I have made using Jane’s Doodles digital stamps

Christmas tree Jane's doodles

I have once again coloured Jane’s image with alcohol markers. I added a wink of stella and glossy accents to the christmas lights. The patterned paper is old SU and the sentiment is another computer generated sentiment from my stash die cut with Inspired by stamping banner die and popped up with foam tabs.

Snowman Jane's Doodles

This is a digital stamp from Jane’s Doodles. I coloured him with alcohol markers. He has some wink of stella on his nose and the ground as well as some glossy accents on his nose. The card front is some Kaisercraft patterned paper. I popped the oval die cut snowman up with foam tape. The snowflakes are from a carl punch.  To finish I added a computer generated sentiment I found in my Christmas stash and die cut with the banner die from Inspired by Stamping.

A bag and gift tag + Playing with Poppy Sketches

Hello

Happy Monday

I found a little time over the weekend to play with these two challenges

I love badgeCreate a bag and a gift tag

My entry

Gift bag (640x493)

I was inspired by Sam’s Extra massive bag at pootles.co.uk – although I have changed the dimensions a bit.

I used two pieces of SU brights cs 11″ x 12″ and scored both the same. Along the 11″ side at 2″ and 10″ and 12″ side at 1″ and 5″.

I folded the score lines. I then joined the sides, folded down the top and then folded in the bottom and secured. I cut a piece of cs to reinforce the base 6.5″ x 3.5″ and placed in the bottom of the bag with double sided tape. Next I punched holes in the top and threaded ribbon through to make the handles.  Finished bag size 7″W x  4″D x 8″ H.

I then made a co ordinating tag. I used the SU Scallop tag punch and whisper white cs and an off cut of the same patterned paper and a scallop border punch. I stamped SU label something with PTI Raspberry Fizz ink and used the hexagon punch. I created the mount with a small piece of matching cs (not sure of brand). Finished with ribbon.

gift tag (350x640)

The bag is the right size to hold some T2 tea for a present.

jane's doodles (455x640)

I made this card using Jane’s Doodles janesdoodles.blogspot.com free digital stamp. I coloured with alcohol markers (mostly Kaisercraft). I die cut using MFT Tags Stax and layered with violet cs. I popped this onto my card front which I had adhered some pink cs (brand unknown) and some gold coloured self adhesive ribbon I got from a stationery store. I added SU little leaves cut from gold glitter paper and a flower from MFT rolled flowers with a gold rhinestone. Finishing touches were ribbon, wink of stella followed by glossy accents and a few clear sequins.

It is nice a sunny here today so I managed to get a pic of the glittery image.

There is still time to play along with both these challenges.

Thanks so much for taking a peek (and all your lovely comments).
