Hello
I had a recent request for some wedding cards
I used some very old stamps sets and layouts/sketches I have made many times.
A lot of little punched out flowers! Putting some small pieces to use.

Thanks for stopping

Hello
Today I am sharing for Unstampabelles Challege #81 here
I have a growing tub of NBUS so I must find some time to play and share with you.
Hope you find time to play in the challenge – remember no stamps! That can be a challenge in itself sometimes.
Until next time
Cheers

Hello
If you are around my part of the world I hope you are managing to stay safe and cool.
Great excuse to stay in and create.
Today I am sharing a few Christmas projects – Sorry very long post.
I made multiples of these tags and packaged them into clear bags and gifted them to my 2 work colleagues. My third colleague due to religion, does not celebrate Christmas so I gifted her a pack of birthday/celebrate/thank you gift tags I had on hand.
Sets used include PTI Communique Curves, Flourishes Forest of Trees, WMS Teeny Trees, SU Chock full of Cheer, SU Endless Wishes, PTI Winter Penguin, ME Winter Wonderland, Uniko Pure Florals Poinsettia, Uniko Background builders winter vines, ME No Peeking, ME Cozy Christmas, SU Festival of Trees, SU Many Merry Starts, SU Delightful Decorations and SSS Christmas. Along with SU Lucky Limeade, Old Olive, Real Red, Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder, Night of Navy, Memento Tuxedo Black, SU Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate, Baked Brown Sugar, Versafine Onyx Black and finished with ribbons and twine from my stash and the odd splash of kindy glitz and flocking.
I made 6 – 8 of each of these designs. Far more than I needed. So next year you might see them on card fronts.
My book club/walking friends are meeting up this week to discuss our last book (Jack and Harry no turning back – Tony McKena) before Christmas and exchange gifts.
I did plan to make a set of 3 wash cloths for each member – that turned out to be rather ambitious.
So instead they will each receive one with soap from a local gift store and a homemade bath bomb made with scented tea.
Patterns used left to right Mollie Makes washcloth, Garter Basketweave (from Little Red Hen), Alaina’s simple Seed Stitch and two more Mollie Makes washcloths. I used Bendigo Woollen Mills 4 ply and 8 ply cotton yarns. Link to patterns on ravelry. Note I haven’t blocked these yet.
I haven’t decided how I will package these yet. I might use some of my stash of pattern paper and make some little bags or pop them in a ready made box (this is probably the winner at the moment!).
Before I go a Wedding card.
Yesterday in the heat hubby and I attended a wedding of a colleague of hubby’s. I did have a card in my stash but hubby informed me the bride & groom’s colour scheme was “black and white”. So before the wedding I made this card. Pretty quick and easy.
I used lifestyle crafts die, SU Mr & Mrs stamp, Itty bitty punch accents with black brads (I have to use these up! maybe they will become trendy again!), black and white cardstock and SU Everyday Chic pattern paper. Perhaps I should have left the black cardstock out – hope the bride and groom like it anyway. As I made this 15 cm square I also made an envelope with my punch board.
I intend to spend some time in the coming weeks starting my next quilt project. I decided some time ago to make a quilt for my friend’s daughter who is turning 16 in January. When I made that decision it seemed so long away, now it is only a few short weeks.
Hope all your holiday prep is done or not to stressful anyway. I have almost finished. Ms 20, Mr almost 18, Ms 16 & her boyfriend and I spent a whole day shopping last week and pretty much got everything sorted. Must admit the boys aren’t much into shopping and we needed to stop and refuel! Just a few little extras to get and Mr almost 18 needs a gift for under the tree – shoes I think are on the list. So I can say pretty much under control.
Thank you to all my wonderful followers. I appreciate the time you take to leave your comments, some of you have been with me since the start of this journey. I always read your comments and they often bring a smile to my dial.
As this will be my last post for a while. I wish you and yours a Merry and safe Christmas period.
Cheers

Hello
Time has a habit of getting away from me!
The children are back at school/uni, I’m back at work and Hubby is back from his work trip but we haven’t sat to look at all the pics yet. There was only one sick with travel sickness out of the group of 18 students. They visited France (Paris, Versailles, Somme & Framelle), Belgium, the Netherlands (Amsterdam), Germany (Berlin) and Turkey (Istanbul & Gallipoli).
Anyway it has taken me a couple of days to get today’s card together. I was determined to have something creative to share this week.
I am linking up to the current challenge at Scrapbook Boutique here
Doesn’t this cake look yummy
Here is my card
I started by stamping my Penny Black wonderful image in Memento tuxedo black ink onto xpress it blending card stock. I coloured with various alcohol markers from Kaisercrsaft & Stampin Up. I layered my image onto Lifestyle crafts nesting lace squares cut from purple cardstock (unknown from scrap pile). This was then layered on to the card front. The ribbon is from my stash I added a sentiment from PTI tiny tags stamped with MFT Grapescicle ink and SU Perfect plum marker and die cut with co ordinating die. The flowers are punched from SU Itty Bitty accents and pushed down in the centre so the petals pop up, then finished with a spot of liquid pearls. I also added a little wink of stella to the centre of the stamped flowers which doesn’t show in my photography.
Here is another pic
I also have a finished quilt to share
This is a disappearing nine patch quilt. The fabrics were from the same range. The sashing/border is a different fabric and is also used for the backing fabric. The batting is a 50/50 bamboo and cotton. I was happier with my basting of this quilt than I was of the last one I completed see this post here. I did use some basting spray this time as well as pinning a lot more. I used my treadle sewing machine to complete the quilting in the ditch. Hubby now has a couple to choose from to gift.
Thanks for stopping

Flourishes November Challenge
I was inspired by the colours – aqua and chocolate
I am linking this card upto the challenge
I have used Flouishes Wedded Bliss stamped in black ink and heat embossed. It is layered with American Crafts Powder card stock and a light chocolate brown (although in the pics it looks black, trust me it is brown). I used MFT Dienamics rolled rose die to create my flowers with a Kaisercraft pearl in the centre. I added Kaisercraft ribbon and the sentiment (For the happy couple) is from PTI Heart – 2 – Heart #9 stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black ink.
As I embossed two images I made a second card.
For this card I layered using Lifestyle crafts lace squares die in black card stock along with some black ribbon and PTI Tiny tags (Wedding Wishes and Mr&Mrs sentiments) stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black onto tiny tags die cut card stock.
I got a little bit of crafty time in yesterday so I will try and share those with you over the next few days.
Thanks for stopping

I used the free digital stamp from Birdie Brown this month to create this card. I also used Pebbles cardstock, Lifestyle crafts instant photo frame die and square lace dies. I coloured my image with Tim Holtz and Stampin UP! markers. The buttons are from Stampin UP! buttons die cut from scraps of cardstock. The yellow twine threaded through them is from Annabelle stamps. I finished with a sentiment from Uniko Bright Butterflies stamped in versafine onyx black. I am linking this up to the monthly challenge at Birdie Brown.
That is me for now have to head out and do some chores.
Thanks for stopping by.

I love the background sets. Thanks for the chance.
And with that I won all this! Way back in October – been waiting patiently for the postie.

and
(this one was out of stock when my prize was shipped – so still waiting on that one)
I used Country Charm and Happy Harvest in this card I have made for a friend’s birthday. I am linking this upto the Tuesday Trigger Challenge at Moxie Fab World. I have been very literal in my interpretation. I also used a couple of new sets (for me) from AnnaBelle Stamps – BBD3 and Garden Silhouettes. A few months ago I won the monthly challenge at AnnaBelle Community so I put that towards these sets (and a few other things!).
Sorry such a long post today. Must get moving I have four more birthday cards to make, some Chrissy cards, some treat bags to decorate and wrap pass the parcel.
If your in Melbourne (or close to it) I hope you are staying cool.
Thanks for popping in.
Cheers
