A few Christmas Cards…

Hello

I have a few cards I made over the weekend. Hopefully they have made their way to Linda who has kindly co-ordinated the Aussie leg of the Caring Hearts Card Drive. You can read all about it here

I used Kaisercraft Reindeer Die, Paper from Lily bee design Jingle tiny tablet, PTI Communique Curves stamp set, Flourishes Forest of Trees, MFT Seasonal  Sentiments, SU Stacked with love paper, Uniko Background Builders Vines Winter Additions and Annabelle Stamps Round for Christmas.  Inside I stamped the sentiment “Merry Christmas from all of us” using SU Crazy about you and Endless Wishes. Inks I used SU Old Olive, Real Red, Baked Brown Sugar and Versafine onyx black.

Build a stocking…

Hello

I have used the colour inspiration from the current challenge at Inspired by Stamping

For these cards I have used Inspired by Stamping Build a stocking and Festive Frames stamp sets, SU Ink and Lily Bee design Jingle tiny tablet paper pad.

I will be linking to Inspired by Stamping monthly challenge and IBSIC #87 and Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Extra Challenge.

Whilst I had these sets out I also created these cards

I used Inspired by Stamping Christmas Wreath, Build a stocking and Festival Frames with Lily bee patterned paper.

A busy few days coming up.

Miss 9 has School sports day, Mr 16 has a Yr 12 exam even though he is in Yr11 followed by his Yr 11 exams and Ms 18 & Ms 14 have parties to go to.

Next week is dance dress rehersal I have one or two adjustments to make and finish dresses/costumes for Ms 18 and Ms 14.

I hope to get some creating done – even if it is just with my new library buddies. One lady has just purchased a big shot so she has been bringing it for show and tell. It is a blast to see her having such a great time.

Sugar and Spice…

Hello

A little Sugar and Spice.

I have used the above sketch from IBSIC #87 and Inspired by Stamping Sugar and Spice and Christmas Wreath stamp sets along with Lily Bee Design Jingle paper pad and SU and PTI inks.

The girls have decided they like the bowler hat 🙂

Maybe I will go back and add one to the blue card.

Christmas…

Christmas in July!

I have used Christmas Baby Present Boy from Sweet November Stamps coloured with Spectrum Noir Markers. The background paper is from Lily bee designs Jingle Tiny tablet. The die cuts are from PTI and Couture Creations. The twine is Peapod from the Twinery with a PTI Tiny tag stamped with “Very Merry” greeting in Versafine Onyx Black and Colorbox Lime Pastel.

I am linking this upto the challenge this month at The Stamp Spot – Christmas Theme. Great time to make a start on those Christmas Cards.

Bottle Tag

A quick little tag I made up and thought I would enter into the AnnaBelle Stamps challenge this week – Christmas 3D

Used up some card stock from my stash along with DSP from Lily bee Design – Jingle Tiny Tablet. I also used AnnaBelle Stamps Round for Christmas – sentiment and the snow flakes stamped in SU Marina Mist ink  back ground are from AnnaBelle Stamps Gifted Swirls. I also used Fiskars border punch, EK Success 1 1/8″ and 1 1/4″ circle punches. This all came together rather quickly.

I watched a tutorial at stampembelishcreate earlier today. It was a technique I had seen before, but I had forgotten about. I must try it this time! So hopefully I will be back with something else to share before the end of the week.

In case you are curious the school performance went well. There was one little convict who was trying really really hard not to smile. They were suppose to be all serious and stern looking – just as well she is small and cute!  She did however do a really mean scary face in the “fight” part of the act … umm has that got something to do with being the youngest of 4? In summing up it was a great concert. As we have ordered the DVD we will be able to watch it over and over again – and she will!

JAI 132 + Happy You

I have made this card for the Just Add Ink Challenge.

I have used Lily Bee design Jingle tiny tablet DSP along with cardstock from my stack and SU Happy You stamp set. I used  SU Old olive ink and aqua painter, SU Lucky Limeade and Garden Green markers along with Tim Holtz Barn door distress marker and Marvy Le Plume Red marker.

I have another post with a card using the same stamp set shortly.
