NBUS meets under the sea…

Hello

I have found 10 minutes to link these up.

Mr 17 is studying for his exams which means trying to keep things quiet – not easy when he has 3 sisters! Little Ms 10 has been keeping me busy with her activities and the school art show. Some lovely work. It is coming to the busy time of the year. My second part time job is an enrolment officer for a local preschool so at this time of year there is lots to do and lots of anxious mums and dads.

Anyway enough waffle here are some cards I have been making

Firstly

Some NBUS I picked up at Paperific recently and Darnell has the perfect challenge.

You can find the NBUS challenge here

Girlfriends (531x640)This card is off to a special “0” birthday of a friend of mine this weekend.

I used NBUS Art Impression Girlfriend stamp coloured with alcohol markers. The pattern paper is also NBUS SU Stacked with love.

Now I might just make the cut off for this challenge over at Crafting with Dragonflies here

I love badge

I have made 2 cards.

I started by stamping images from MSS Ocean Fun onto watercolour paper and colouring with pencils.

MSS Ocean fun (640x430)

This card I used some metalic paper I picked up somewhere. I made a porthole using dies from ME stitched sew fancy and Quickcutz circle dies.

and

Mss ocean fun 2 (640x479)

I used a stencil from SU Happy Patterns to create the background on my card front. I then added my image. The sentiment is from PTI Tiny Treats and the water grass is from My Cute Stamps fishy fun.

My last card today is one which I was inspired by Therese which can be found here

photo 2 (3) (493x640)

I used PTI tag dies and some pattern paper.

Thanks for stopping

Until next time

Cheers

A spot of nature…

IMG_3504

I have used PTI Tiny Treats and Tremendous Treats along with SU markers in Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point and Gumball Green. I also used my sponge tool with SU Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue.  I have used the DoCrafts Snowman Tag and have made it into a bookmark. I also used Ivory seam binding ribbon coloured with a marker (except the green I had green ribbon) and tied with ABS twine. I added some glossy accents to the coloured images. Miss A (8) is going to a party this coming weekend and the gift includes a book – so I thought it would be nice to include a book mark or three.

Here is a pic of the lady bugs

Cup cake toppers

A busy week(end) for us.

Miss 12 is now Miss 13 and these are the cake toppers for her party on Saturday night.

I used ABS stamps, the new ABS digi paper and the back was plain card stock. I posted a pic of her birthday card a few days ago – so if you missed it scroll down.

She celebrated with about 15 girls at home with pizza.

And Miss 7 is Miss 8 today these are the cake toppers for her party on Sunday and she celebrated with 14 girls and some party pies, chips and other party food.

I used PTI tiny birthday treats and cardstock.

I used ABS Tomorrow’s Dream for her card coloured with markers before being cut out along with MSS Simple Salutations, Creativ ABC and PTI Heart-2-Heart #2 for the balloon. I also used paper from Jillibean Soup and MFT die.

Now don’t think it’s all over – later in the week Miss 16 will be Miss 17 – so I will be back later in the week to share her card.

Thanks for visiting and taking time to leave such lovely comments.

Cheers

Bridgette’s 18th

This girl came free with a magazine – Do Crafts Glam Girls

I used Versafine Onyx black then heat embossed the image. I used Tim Holtz markers to colour her in (Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo, Tea Dye, Tattered Rose, Peeled Paint, Mustard Seed, Dusty Concord, Worn Lipstick, Spun Sugar, Victorian Velvet and Milled Lavender). I added some pink glitter – although I think she looked OK without it too. I used colorbox lemon grass around the edges. The cardstock is lavender and Key lime from Scrapbook Boutique and DSP is Garden Arabesque from Kaisercraft. The sentiment is PTI Tiny Treats.

This girl went off to an 18th Birthday Party last night.

Hope your having a great weekend.

Cheers

Vicki
