Hello
Popping in today to share a few finished projects and some WIP./plans.
I have made this for the challenge – a gift tag using die cut cork stamped using Inspired by Stamping Fancy Circles in PTI white ink. I also used SU scalloped top tag punch, SU Elegant Butterfly punch some unknown cardstock, pearls and ribbon from my stash. Thanks to Michelle for the inspiration here
I also made this gift
The Felt flower is made from die cuts and adhered to both an aligator hair clip and pin. I used buttons to make earrings.
The clutch or hold all is made from some fabric from my stash using Newlook 6723 Pattern.
Miss E is off to a party tonight this is part of the gift along with a few bits and bobs from Typo.
Must also mention she is driving! She got her licence yesterday.
So some driving trips are off my list – no late night pick up from dancing classes and she can do the Netball training run.
Here is a pic of the gift bag finished with a little washi tape.
Before I go a few other projects
I finished this scarf a while ago and forgot to share. I used 2 x 25g balls in a rib pattern.
The yarn is Filatura Di Crosa baby Principessa Merino colour 335.
This is a WIP. I am trying to use up some of my stash of fabric. I have started by cutting 4″ x 4″ squares. Alternating the patterned squares with a white fabric.
Not sure whether to add a white border before attaching the backing fabric (a pink with white spot) or not. What do you think?
Enjoy your weekend
Busy as usual 3 games of netball tomorrow and a basketball grand final.
Thanks for taking a peek
Cheers
Vicki
Popping in today to share this little clutch. This was a project I had promised Miss E I would make. Well I forgot about it literally until the 11th hour. Some time between picking Miss S up from dance class last night and Miss E needing to leave at 6.30 I whipped this little bag up. We had already chosen the outer fabric from my stash, and the pattern but we did need to find something to line it with. Fortunately that didn’t take more than 5 minutes. The whole bag went together in less than an hour. Great little pattern to add something new to your outfit. With 3 little Misses I will probably end up making more of these – never have the right accessories! I do encourage sharing and using something more than once.
I got the original pattern from here http://www.weddingbee.com/2009/05/14/sewing-clutches-for-the-ladies/#axzz2Rd2QOIwT
Miss A is playing netball – Dad took her today. I have made a cheesecake and some truffles for tonight’s bookclub. You may well ask is it a book club or a food club! Just as well we walk too. As I still have another game of netball later better get my skates and get some of my other jobs done.
Hope you are having a great weekend thanks for stopping.
Cheers

I made this for my eldest daughter – and I didn’t have to go to get any supplies! This is one of the projects I mentioned a few days ago.
I got the pattern from here http://www.made-by-rae.com/2009/02/free-buttercup-bag-sewing-pattern/ – I made a few slight adjustments, Miss E wanted the strap longer and I sewed the strap in place before sewing the lining to the outer bag – thought it might be a bit more secure that way. I also added Clover Create a strap to the inside of the strap – something else I found on the recent tidy up. The buttons are from my Nan’s old button tin – I come from a line of button hoarders!
Thanks for visiting and welcome to my new followers.
Cheers
