Recent makes…

Hello

Just popping in to share a few recent requested card makes for a friend.

An Elsa inspired card I totally CASEd from here. Thanks Lyssa. I did make one modification I used Uniquely creative stitched dies to get the curves of the dress. Those dies aren’t just for landscapes!

I also made my own shimmer spray mixing Isopropyl alcohol and shimmer paint in a spray bottle.

The next couple of cards seem to be frequent repeats!

I did consider not sharing even though they are new makes they are layouts I have used many times before! Funny I don’t really like mass producing – made 10 of one card as an invitation once and that was a struggle! However going back to making a card that seemed to work doesn’t seem to be an issue! Especially if it is for a friend and I can show them a pic before I start.

Do you ever go back and make a card again?

Sadly we were in need of a sympathy card this week.

Once again I have gone for simple white die cuts with liquid pearl centres and a simple sentiment from Avery Elle – stamp and die cut.

I have an outrageously large pile of NBUS to play with before more new play things arrive 🙂 My dilema what to play with first!

In the meantime I plan to do a little reading – Bridgerton the Duke and I – while I continue knitting a Weir for myself.

Thanks for stopping

Cheers

Vicki

Unstampabelles #78:April – Vellum or Acetate here
Prize
New KaiserCraft EF
I used some cardstock and patterned paper from my stash to make the card base, mounts, flower stems and flower heads.  The jar is die cut from vellum.  The sentiment is from a new (for me) Sizzix die set.  I have a number of new goodies I have acquired over the last few months needing some love!
I have added liquid pearls to the centre of some of the flower heads.
and now for my new view/item
Hubby has been away on a school trip for the last 3 weeks and whilst he was away I took the opportunity to partially empty my craft room and reorganise. I found this rack on a recent trip to Ballarat.
I hope you find some time to join us at Unstampabelles this month.
Cheers

A few more recent birthday creations…

Hello

Popping in to share a couple of recent birthday cards.

This first one was for a friend of Mr M’s.  The colours and flowers were as requested.  Funny story Ms E went to the same party and took a card from my stash.  So the birthday girl got 2 totally different cards from our family.

One of the girls netball team mates turns 30 on 31st.  This year she decided to have a party early – don’t know why people don’t want to celebrate her birthday on the 31st?!! Anyway the focus was all on her last week.  I went to the party along with Ms E and Ms S and had a good night and my first experience of a photo booth.  This was rather funny cause I can’t see much without my glasses so if you can imagine how the quick prop changes and no glasses combo turned out.  This lady likes a drink or two this was the only set I could find in my stash with a glass.  I don’t particularly think she is beach loving but she is an Aussie summer babe.  I have since ordered a new stamp set for my stash – well there was obviously a gap in my collection!

Thanks for stopping

Cheers
