Hello
I am back today with my DT card for the new challenge at Unstampabelles here.
The prize is
Certainly each and every project for Unstampabelles pushes me outside my comfort zone. This is the purpose of challenges right.
I created a subtle edge by using ME Basic die set. I also used the stitched die on the black mount which is a little tricky to see in the pic.
The die cut sentiments are from Stamplorations and PTI. The pattern paper is from SU as is the gold glitter tape behind the die cuts.
This happened to also fit with a request from Ms E for another 21st birthday which was black, white and gold. So of course a matching gift bag was added using my gift bag punch board.
Hope you have time to join in.
Thanks for stopping.
Cheers

Hello
Thanks for stopping.
Today I am sharing a project I have made for the current Challenge anything but a card at Unstampabelles here.
If you haven’t joined in yet you still have time.
I have used a tutorial from Qbee’s Quest here. Thank you to Brenda for such a great tutorial. She has so many great projects.
Here is mine
I have used SU Retro Fresh, Very Vanilla and tangelo twist papers. The handbag top was die cut using Courture Creations Victorian Rectangle and the closure is a brad I had in my stash. The ribbon is SU Tangerine tango. I felt the bag needed a little pretting up so I added the very vanilla die cut butterfly and a strip of rhinestones. This is a good size purse for various gift items.
While I was deciding which project I would create for today Ms A (11) created this little gift box from a template I have – source unknown. She went off on her own using her own crafty supplies and my punches. She created the Superman all on her own. She gave this to her prep buddy for his birthday last Friday.
Cheers

Hello
While I had Penny Black Wonderful out the other day I also created this Thinking of you card for a work colleague who lost her mother recently.
I teamed this with MSS Simple Salutations. As you can see I used copics again to colour and the same patterned paper however instead of ribbon I used twine from True Hemp this time.
Today I had a day trip with Ms E (20) to Bendigo where we indulged at Bendigo Woollen Mills among other places. We decided we need to return to Bendigo again to visit some places we just didn’t have time for and to go back to some we really liked browsing in. I was really happy to visit the pottery and find the potter at work who I had purchased several pieces from 20+ years ago! I now have his contact details for a couple of pieces that have been broken over the years.
Thanks for stopping

Hello
I needed a couple of cards and thought it would be nice to show some of my older sets some love.
Today I am sharing a birthday card I made for a friend using Penny Black Wonderful stamp set coloured with copics and layered using SU Sweet Sorbet paper and SU Pool Party Seam binding ribbon.
I am linking up to the following challenges

Hello
My card today I linking up to the following challenges
NBUS #6 here
and
Uniko February colour challenge here
I have used a NBUS free Uniko digi stamp (details can be found on Uniko blog – thanks Bev). I printed onto cardstock. This was then coloured with SU markers tempting turquoise, pretty in pink and Soft sky. After which I added a wink of stella to the balloons and “happy” before adding some glossy accents to the balloons. This was then mounted on coordinating cardstock and pattern paper from SU sweet taffy. A reasonably quick card if you exclude the glossy accents drying time! So I wasn’t tempted to test I put it on just before Ms E dropped me at the school on her way to work just in time for school pick up. It was ready when we got home. We should walk to/from school more often it would make getting my daily step count really easy – a round trip takes about one hour.
Any way I hope to play with a least one other item from my NBUS stack before the challenge closes. Darnell’s challenge is just the push to use things. Thanks Darnell.
Until next time
Cheers

Hello
I thought it was time this little lady had some inky love.
Today’s card I am linking up to the following challenges
Seize the Birthday here – no topping
The 30 day colouring challenge here
The paper players here
Scrapbook boutique mood board here
Here is my card
I started by stamping my image from ABS Lil Michelle. I masked the teddy so Michelle could hold some balloons. I did momentarily think of stamp surgery but decided against it and went with the mask. I then coloured her using my water colour paints and pencils. I coloured her skin with a water based marker. I then added all the mounts to the card front and the die cut gold balloons using PTI heart-2-heart #2 from unknown cardstock. I finished by hand drawing the balloon strings with a fine liner and adding black twine to the balloon ends.
This card is off to a family friend’s birthday party at Inflatable World over the weekend.
Thanks for stopping
Cheers
Vicki
Edit – I just realised I have entered more than 3 challenges which excludes my entry to SBB. I must remember next time! 🙂
Hello
If you are around my part of the world I hope you are managing to stay safe and cool.
Great excuse to stay in and create.
Today I am sharing a few Christmas projects – Sorry very long post.
I made multiples of these tags and packaged them into clear bags and gifted them to my 2 work colleagues. My third colleague due to religion, does not celebrate Christmas so I gifted her a pack of birthday/celebrate/thank you gift tags I had on hand.
Sets used include PTI Communique Curves, Flourishes Forest of Trees, WMS Teeny Trees, SU Chock full of Cheer, SU Endless Wishes, PTI Winter Penguin, ME Winter Wonderland, Uniko Pure Florals Poinsettia, Uniko Background builders winter vines, ME No Peeking, ME Cozy Christmas, SU Festival of Trees, SU Many Merry Starts, SU Delightful Decorations and SSS Christmas. Along with SU Lucky Limeade, Old Olive, Real Red, Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder, Night of Navy, Memento Tuxedo Black, SU Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate, Baked Brown Sugar, Versafine Onyx Black and finished with ribbons and twine from my stash and the odd splash of kindy glitz and flocking.
I made 6 – 8 of each of these designs. Far more than I needed. So next year you might see them on card fronts.
My book club/walking friends are meeting up this week to discuss our last book (Jack and Harry no turning back – Tony McKena) before Christmas and exchange gifts.
I did plan to make a set of 3 wash cloths for each member – that turned out to be rather ambitious.
So instead they will each receive one with soap from a local gift store and a homemade bath bomb made with scented tea.
Patterns used left to right Mollie Makes washcloth, Garter Basketweave (from Little Red Hen), Alaina’s simple Seed Stitch and two more Mollie Makes washcloths. I used Bendigo Woollen Mills 4 ply and 8 ply cotton yarns. Link to patterns on ravelry. Note I haven’t blocked these yet.
I haven’t decided how I will package these yet. I might use some of my stash of pattern paper and make some little bags or pop them in a ready made box (this is probably the winner at the moment!).
Before I go a Wedding card.
Yesterday in the heat hubby and I attended a wedding of a colleague of hubby’s. I did have a card in my stash but hubby informed me the bride & groom’s colour scheme was “black and white”. So before the wedding I made this card. Pretty quick and easy.
I used lifestyle crafts die, SU Mr & Mrs stamp, Itty bitty punch accents with black brads (I have to use these up! maybe they will become trendy again!), black and white cardstock and SU Everyday Chic pattern paper. Perhaps I should have left the black cardstock out – hope the bride and groom like it anyway. As I made this 15 cm square I also made an envelope with my punch board.
I intend to spend some time in the coming weeks starting my next quilt project. I decided some time ago to make a quilt for my friend’s daughter who is turning 16 in January. When I made that decision it seemed so long away, now it is only a few short weeks.
Hope all your holiday prep is done or not to stressful anyway. I have almost finished. Ms 20, Mr almost 18, Ms 16 & her boyfriend and I spent a whole day shopping last week and pretty much got everything sorted. Must admit the boys aren’t much into shopping and we needed to stop and refuel! Just a few little extras to get and Mr almost 18 needs a gift for under the tree – shoes I think are on the list. So I can say pretty much under control.
Thank you to all my wonderful followers. I appreciate the time you take to leave your comments, some of you have been with me since the start of this journey. I always read your comments and they often bring a smile to my dial.
As this will be my last post for a while. I wish you and yours a Merry and safe Christmas period.
Cheers
Vicki
Hello
Today I have some tags to share
I am linking them up to these challenges at
Inspired by Stamping
and
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge Blog
I started with SU Very vanilla cs 5cm x 8.5cm. Using the Scallop tag topper punch I created a tag and finished by rounding the corners. The inks I have used are SU Cherry Cobbler, SU Baked Brown Sugar, SU Always Artichoke and Memento Tuxedo black. The stamp sets used are IBS Build a stocking, IBS Holiday Ornaments, IBS Sugar & Spice and SU Holiday Home. The tags are finished with SU cherry cobbler tulle ribbon.
The tags
The gifts for my book club friends next week.
Book labels, book mark made using Jane’s Doodles stamp sets see post here and some Christmas tags. The box is an adaption from Sam’s at Pootles here. Thank you. I used some SU patterned paper (Be of good cheer).
Last night my friend and I crafted from 8 pm – 1 am making paper Santas – 12 for her and nearly 30 for me. This took a little longer than I thought but it was nice to chat and craft at a leisurely pace. I will share some pics later in the week when the Santas get their arms and legs!
Thanks for stopping

Hello
Today I am sharing a great Santa digi from Jane’s Doodles here.
and I am linking up to Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas challenge
I coloured him with alcohol markers. He has a little glossy accents on his mug and some flocking on his moustache, cuffs and edge of his jacket. Perhaps next time I will add it to his beard and eyebrows as well! I used some SU paper on the card front and popped the image up with foam tabs. The sentiment is from a sticker sheet I came across in my stash.
Thanks for stopping
