A Minion Book mark…

Hello

I have a few things to share today – sorry it is a picture heavy post.

I am sharing a minion book mark for Mr 16’s girlfriend. We are giving her books for Christmas so of course she is going to need a new bookmark.

IMG_6157 (371x640)

I used some free digital paper from here. I then made a minion for the other side using these instructions as a guide from here. I used scraps of cardstock and the following punches SU owl builder, word window, flower and circle from itty bitty shapes and hear from itty bitty accents. Along with the scallop tag punch of course to make the tag shape. I used a fine liner to draw his smile and hair. I used some googly eyes. The words are from Jane’s Doodles Read all about it! and the book mark is finished with twine from WeRMK.

I have been busy with some chocolate and silicone molds making sleighs and trees. The “gingerbread” chocolate house is awaiting construction.

These have all now been wrapped in celephane ready for delivery tomorrow.

And the 30 Santa’s got their arms and legs

IMG_6163 (640x427)

I used this skinny santa tutorial here. Thank you Sharon. I did use a few different punches & dies as that is what I have.

Mr 16 and Ms 10 also helped me to cover 35 small chocolate bars using MDS digital software.

Thanks for making it all the way to the end

Cheers

Cookie?

The current challenge at the Lollipop Ladies is from this picture with the added challenge of off the page.

I have made this little hair clip using X Cut Scallop circle dies, felt and alligator clip I purchased from an online store.  Modeled by my youngest daughter.

IMG_3822

I have followed the tutorial by Jen McDermott which can be found here http://lawnscaping.blogspot.com.au/2013/10/video-tutorial-fabric-flower-with-lawn.html

I found this to be really easy to follow. I did try the fabric but I only had very thick interfacing and my Epic 6 had a little trouble cutting it smoothly plus it made the back of the fabric white which I didn’t like the appearance of.  So I changed to felt which was really easy to work with.

IMG_3818

I made a small gift tag with a small slit in it.  I used. MFT Dienamics Traditional Tags Stax, PTI Tremendous Treats Birthday sentiment stamped in PTI Dark Chocolate ink (for the chocolate chips in the cookie!), scrap white and kraft cardstock. Finished off with some white ribbon and a small piece of twine.

IMG_3828

I attached to the outside of her present with double sided tape. I wrapped the card inside with the present.

I am a couple of days late with this gift and card for the youngest daughter of one of my oldest friends and neighbour!  I think she will be happy when she opens it to find a Barbie make your own nail polish kit – my 3 girls all want one now – yes MIss 8 & Miss 13 and Miss 17!

Tonight we are off to the Graduation dinner of Miss 17.

Most of my crafting this week has been her dress, clutch and dance costumes – dress and clutch finished, dance costumes almost there.

If you are in NSW fire area – stay safe.

Thanks for popping by

Gift bag with a difference…

10minutecreations Graphic

Saw this little creation over at Flourishes blog – click the pic above to take you there

I have made this for a friend’s birthday. I think she will like this idea – a little different and rather quick to put together.

IMG_3745

I have used Flourishes Vintage Wallpaper stamped in SU Real Red as the background. I used a sentiment from Flourishes Wedded Bliss for the front focal point (in hindsight I should have used Kraft cardstock instead of white) and die cut with circle die and mounted onto scallop circle. The front flap holds a necklace (you can see it poking out the top) for her and the inside the card. For the card I stamped an image from Flourishes Spring Blossom and added a small strip of real read cardstock to the edge. I used a 1 3/4″ circle punch to punch the opening. My bag was a different size to the one used in the link I just cut a bit more from the top and made my inside card to fit.

and another couple of pics

Here is a pic of the jars the girls were busy decorating – it was worth hoarding collecting all those jam jars!

Been a busy day today. Short trip to Melbourne Zoo – great day for it. Lovely and sunny and Miss S took the pics this time so easy for me. After lunch we headed off to IKEA as I had to return something and now Miss S is at a party at Bounce (a trampoline place) so I’ll be picking her up a bit later tonight.

Thanks for taking a peek

Going round in circles with a Flourish…

Hi There.

IMG_3568

I stamped my images from Flourishes Spring Blossom with versafine Onyx Black before colouring with my Spectrum Noir markers – mostly brights set. I also coloured a butterfly image from the Flourishes Old Tea Rose set and cut out. I die cut with a circle die and added to a scallop circle die cut. All this was fixed to a circle card base cut from the same circle die as the image.

I am linking this up to Flourishes Timeless Tuesday FTTC227 – I might just make this.

Garden Gate and Spring Blossom…

Hi Everyone.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Not a bad one here, the children had a  few good games. The  U9 Netball (Miss 8) and U16  (Mr 15) Basketball won, however the girls open team had a loss – they were up at 3/4 time – Miss 17 & Miss 13 play open Netball (same team).

I was lucky to get some new stamp sets from Flourishes by way of Moxie Fab World recently. I really like these images – they are great for colouring. I inked up the Garden Gate set and made this card.  I stamped the image onto water colour paper. I have coloured it using Stampin UP!, Tim Holtz and Marvey Le Plume markers. The cardstock is from Pebbles and I used Lifestyle Crafts circle dies. The button is from my stash with a little twine from the Twinery (blossom) added. I haven’t added a sentiment yet.

IMG_3543

And I made a second card using Flourishes Spring Blossom same cardstock.

IMG_3544

I used an Xcut Scallop Circle die and added a Stampin UP! Sizzix Butterfly with a little bling. I also added a little bling with clear and pink Spica pens – sorry they don’t show up in this pic. Perhaps I should have made the butterfly pink. I do like how this card came together.

Pink Spots…

I fully intended to have these cards made over our recent long weekend – however other things got in the way of my crafting time.

I made this for a couple of challenges this week.

IMG_3515

I used ABSC033 for the layout. I have used cardstock from my stash. The image is from ABS Tomorrows Dream paper pierced with bits again from my stash. I coloured her scarf and hat band with markers before adding glossy accents. I used an alcohol marker to colour her face. I die cut her using a circle die before mounting to a scallop circle.  I replaced the kite with a felt balloon cut from PTI die and added twine from the twinery (blossom). The card front is embossed using swiss dots. The sentiment is from ABS Party Animals 1. Before finishing off I added some  punched flowers with rhinestone centres.

Annabelle Stamps Blog: ABSC033

I then decided to make a second card.

IMG_3516

In this card I used ABSC031 sketch with ABS digi paper in spots with some ABS ribbon. The sentiment is again from ABS Party Animals 1. I added a Kaisercraft pre cut flower, Basic grey button tied in the centre with blossom twine and finished with a row of rhinestones.

Annabelle Stamps Blog: ABSC031

These cards were my post for the Lollipop Ladies this week and I am linking them up to the challenge at Annabelle Stamps.

Thanks for stopping bye for a peek.

If you are any where near where I live I hope you are staying warm and dry!

Hope to be back again soon.

TCM November Sketch Challenge

I have used TCM Summertime Fun with Fibi and Lilly along with TCM Stitched Sentiments.  I used various markers to colour her in before adding to my card front. I think she is so cute.
