I am also entering this to the current challenge at Crafting with Dragonflies here

I love badge

My card is a z fold card.  Rather addictive fold once you make one and very effective.

I die cut stars of various sizes from a shipping box and from some glittery cardstock.  I also punched some smaller stars and die cut the sentiment from SSS. I placed the stars in groups of 3 on the top edges of the card folds.

Hope to see your creation in the gallery.

Until next time

Cheers

Vicki

Seeing Stars…

What do you think these? No quite how I pictured them but my kiddos think they are cool.

I have used Annabelle stamps a boy’s party and stamped the large star using SU ink in real red, lucky limeade, garden green, daffodil delight, pumpkin pie and tempting turquoise and the small stars I have used markers and picked one star and coloured from the circle of stars from the same set. The sparkly paper is punched using CP1 Carl star punch. The sentiment is from Annabelle stamps Garden Silhouettes.

I am linking this to the Challenge at CAS(E) this sketch

For my second card

I have again used SU inks and stamped the star from Annabelle stamps a boy’s party – I then cut them all out by hand. I die cut a star using Xcut star die in the front of my card base. I made a pouch with acetate sheet and put my stars, some glitter and gold star sequins into it before sealing it and taping to the inside of the front of the card. I stamped the sentiment from Annabelle stamps Ornamental Christmas in SU real red.

These are my creations for my post this week at The Lollipop Ladies – Stars and sparkle.

Pop over and check out the prize on offer this time.

Thanks for popping by

The Greeting Farm – OA Surprise

I made this card for my husband’s birthday in a couple of days.

I used The Greeting Farm OA Surprise stamped with Stazon. I then coloured him using watercolour pencils and SU Not Quite Navy, SU Blush Blossom and Marvy Le Plume Brillant Yellow markers. I popped him onto the card front with tape. I cut the banners from Jillibean Soup Spotted owl DSP, MME Lime Twist Out of the Blue DSP, SU Bashfull blue and So Saffron Cardstock. The stars were cut with X Cut Star Nesting dies using MME Lime twist DSP and cardstock from my stash. Buttons from AnnaBelle Stamps and We R Memory Keepers Orange Twine. The tag is from SU Sizzlits Lots of Tags Label 1 and SU Little Princess sentiment.

I am going to enter this card into The Greeting Farm Retro Fresh Challenge.

MFTWSC82 Challenge

I thought I would enter this card I made for my husband’s nephew’s 18th Birthday in the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club Challenge.

I repeatedly stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from PTI World’s Greatest using PTI classic kraft, SU Certainly Celery, Night of Navy, Marina Mist and Real Red inks. The star paper was included in a magazine. I die cut the Quickutz tab from a scrap of blue. The red card strip is topped with PTI twine. The Star was also die cut from a scrap using X Cut Star dies and the “18” was stamped with versafine onyx black using See D’s stamps.

Cheers
