#98 March Challenge, 2020 – Hope

 

 

What represents Hope?

 

Flowers (Tulips, Myrtle, Marjoram, Lotus, Daisy); castles in the air; clouds; sunshine; and sunrises; new beginnings and/or birth; energy and youth; to name only a few things.

 

You can tell us what represents HOPE to you…..

 

TWIST – use yellow as the main colour

 

 

I love the hope that a new bub brings.

 

This is a tiny 7.5 x 7.5 cm square gift card.  I die cut my baby onesie in felt using PTI hanging out die.  Being able to cut materials other than paper was one of the reasons why I originally got a die cutting machine as I did have a punch collection.  I only wanted to cut flowers and hearts in felt to add to my hand made soft toys it was an added bonus that I could also die cut images for card making as well.  Well looking at my die stash you can see this went in a totally different directon! Any way my card also uses a couple of circle punches and a die cut sentiment.

After making this card I might just make some more with felt.  I can see a washing line full of baby onesies.
